Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
How much has Boreham's chairman paid for those fans to be their. They don't have fans

Wonder how many of them know where Boreham Wood's stadium is.
Most of them commute fro Manchester to home games.

Bournemouth should be ashamed of themselves.

Boreham Wood look they’ll be Stevenage 2.0 when they are in L2 next season. Someone needs to stop them now.

They've been excellent tbh. Very, very solid team. Can see why they're in the mix in this league.

I think we're all hoping that their paper thin squad starts to crack a bit as the season gets into the business end.. Especially with these extra cup games... But it becomes more and more of a worry every week. They simply must be stopped, wank team

Wood have added 4-5 players last few weeks, don’t think they’ll struggle with numbers too much. They’ll make play offs but I can’t see them winning it.

They’ve been very good. A cup run which distracts them from the league and piles up their fixtures also suits me

The plastic club got the job done. No history. No fans. They don't deserve it

James Rowe’s second biggest error was getting rid of Will Evans.
He was quality for us in his first season here, won POTY, but the seasons that followed he gradually got worse and worse, and absolute calamity towards the end of his time here.

Huge credit where it’s due though for how good he’s been this season for the Wood. I’ve always liked him, can never question his attitude and commitment, never injured either very reliable.

Was it him who fucked up for our winner in the playoffs?

They played very well to be fair. Just a shame they are so unlikeable. And where have all these mad Boreham Wood ultras come from??

Pot kettle black.
Not really the same degree though is it. There's a history of football in Halifax for over 100 years. Different club or not. Some local dudes just thrown a load of money into something that isn't sustainable with the fan base they have.

Like them or not, their model is probably sustainable. Arsenal youth and women don't play there for free.

The players they have on the books haven't exactly set the world alight elsewhere either. They just have an excellent manager.

Do they still charge away teams for highlights?

They still charge for away team to do commentary and for the away side to park the bus in the club car park, not kidding. Scummy little club but fair play on that run.

Sold out their 1,340 allocation. Where the hell did they all come from? Like them or loathe them, we would all have settled for that if it were our club.

Also only offer two free places at the boardroom meal for visiting directors, any others spaces need to be charged full price.

It's been known for years that he is an excellent manager and remains a mystery how he is still there.

Aye, I've not been Hurst out ever I don't think!

Only thing I've criticised him for this season is not signing a decent striker that can score goals and that's what has cost us a shot at the title. I said that at the start of the season, after the first Bromley loss, and on our recent run of form that has nearly been all 1 goal losses seems to be fully justified.

Still think we will make the play-offs, though its very tight at the top, yes the bad run of form has been bad, but we haven't really put in terrible performances that we deserved to lose apart from the odd game maybe. Most seem to have been silly defensive mistakes that cost us and not being able to put the many chances away at the other end. Sounded like yesterday was very close to that again, but went our way for a change.
Yeah and I think I tried to counter your argument about the lack of #9 at some point saying that it wasn't the reason we missed out on some points earlier in the season in a certain match... whether or not that was correct at the time, it's certainly been proven that we've well and truly missed someone in that position this season.

I still think we'll make the playoffs as well, but recently I've had doubts over that for the first time, namely after the Bromley match and just because I really can't see who isn't going to make it out of all the sides in the mix right now. I do think that Hurst knows how to grind it out though and is about as good as you're going to get in terms of a guaranteed playoffs spot at this level.
