Couldn’t make it yesterday but this is one of the best limbs photos I’ve seen, even though it was celebrating a last minute winner against my own team.

Woke up this morning safe in the knowledge that my personal campaign to let the world know that John McAtee is the dogs bollocks has been absolutely justified
He certainly is, it’s not him responsible for all the dog mess on the pavements and along the seafront in Cleethorpes is it.

Rollercoaster of a day yesterday. I honestly think I'd have preferred to have been smashed 4-1 or something. With 10 minutes to go I honestly believed we'd do it. Unbelievable effort from the Harriers players, to lead 5th in the Prem until the 91st minute then even in extra time no crumble until the 121st showed just how good this team can be. Every single player on the pitch gave everything.

Penny's goal and the euphoria in the stands is something I won't forget. Matt Preston is an absolute unit and I can't see Solihull letting us keep him. In his first 4 games with us we hadn't conceded and he nearly made it 5/5.

But Declan Rice is a different level, the best player I've ever seen play at Aggborough, he dragged West Ham through that game as the other players on the pitch didn't seem up for it.

Back to the league now for us, if we keep this squad together I think we've got a great chance of joining you guys next season.

One final mention for Yarmolenko, what a diving rat. It was actually embarrassing to see back how bad that dive was.

Unfortunately Penney had ran himself ragged in that game and that's what opened the space for West ham to score their equaliser, Moyes could see it a mile away hence bringing Fornals on that left wing.

A great effort though, you should be proud

Sorry but I just think he really offers very little as a target man. Very rarely when the ball goes up to him does he find another town player with it - most of the time he just pointlessly flicks it on to a defender. I mean fair play to him he tucked the chance that fell to him away to make it 1-1, but I just think we could do a lot better than him. I think Gary Jones maybe spoiled target men for me, I'm always comparing them to him and nobody is ever going to quite hit the heights that lumpaldinho did.
That's not a fair comparison for me. Jones was absolutely mint in 05/06 but our entire season was built on lumping balls up to him and overloading the opposition with runs from Reddy, Cohen and Parkinson. The only runner we have like that that starts regularly this season is Sousa and we're set up completely differently..

Without looking at stats I'd argue that Post-Slade Jones and Taylor are very comparable in terms of contribution and performance.

Don't agree that Taylor hardly ever finds a Town shirt, but each to their own and that. My main criticisms of Taylor would be that he doesn't get into the box enough and he's not physical enough for a player of his size. The former brings us back to our lack of #9 once again though.

I've been ardently HURST IN all season so I'm not having this on a personal level. One of his best qualities has always been getting the right mentality into the dressing room and it was evident yesterday.

Aye, I've not been Hurst out ever I don't think!

Only thing I've criticised him for this season is not signing a decent striker that can score goals and that's what has cost us a shot at the title. I said that at the start of the season, after the first Bromley loss, and on our recent run of form that has nearly been all 1 goal losses seems to be fully justified.

Still think we will make the play-offs, though its very tight at the top, yes the bad run of form has been bad, but we haven't really put in terrible performances that we deserved to lose apart from the odd game maybe. Most seem to have been silly defensive mistakes that cost us and not being able to put the many chances away at the other end. Sounded like yesterday was very close to that again, but went our way for a change.

I agree, so much so that I think we need to keep quiet about it...I fear we may lose him in the summer. He must have been really poorly managed at Scunny, he has a natural physicality, passion and feistyness that I thought would have been spotted by others that would pay more than us. Maybe it was just that Hurst spotted some of that potential when he was Scunny but McAtee has only now come out of his shell. He interacts with his teamates and the fans really well - see the way he is the one going round the players one by one and leading the reaction with the fans https://fb.watch/a-BMnQTSbx/

Thank fuck we scored there.

Tuesday massive game. Have Chesterfield sold out?
No because of the stupid way you sell your tickets. 1200 in Railway End went but the other 700 odd down the side are for over 65s and families, many of whom won’t be going to Stockport on a Tuesday night in Feb. Shame as we’d have probably sold them if it was a proper general sale.
I do know a couple of mates who just bought a kids ticket with their adult tickets to pretend they were a ‘family’.

So Wrexham fan's don't seem happy today thats the impression I'm getting.
Just goes to show, money isn't everything. Credit to your manager as well, got to give it to him sticking with a little phoenix club when he may have had a chance of moving to one of the brotherhood massives.

Considering that we actually try play football on the floor this season, our season mat start going downhill sooner than later .

That's Notts County out of the FA Trophy then. No way does Burchnall-ball work on a surface like that.

That’s the view from the exec box. I know Waterfall was credited with the goal, but who was it that got the final touch?
Looks like Efete (the right back for us). He has a very decent return for a fullback. Not sure how hard some people find it to spot who touches the ball last tbh.

We didnt have a fit forward at all and had to play a couple of midfielders up there first half. Seeing we had the lead we knew a bombardment was coming. Gary Johnson changed our formation with Asa Hall dropping into the defence. All our midfield players worrked their asses off in the second half and a deseved win.

Wrexham were bang average im afraid. Will next season start with MILLIONS spent on each player to get out ???????????

Calling us bang average is generous going off what I've heard.

Yes. So it's better for everyone if you all just let us pass through and take 3 points each week. We'll be out of your hair in no time.

Stockport County.
Boreham Wood are on ITV4 in 20 minutes away at Bournemouth. Done very well to get this far to be fair.

I hope the splendour and joy of the FA Cup strikes and that they get thoroughly battered. Sick of seeing their creepy little Ginger chairman welling up on the telly on Football Focus the day of these games.

Their supporters have a superb sense of irony singing "Your support is fucking shit".

He's missed a massive opportunity to take over a club a huge 1 place above us in the football pyramid. I imagine he'll be heartbroken right now.

How much has Boreham's chairman paid for those fans to be their. They don't have fans

Wonder how many of them know where Boreham Wood's stadium is.
