Slow start for Grimsby but they grew into the first half and should have been ahead at the break.

We look a little fitter and more organised but still badly lacking quality.

We do look better with a 4-5-1 but Weymouth have had a worryingly high amount of possession and were perhaps unlucky not to get a penalty in the first few minutes.
Pushing Brundle up the pitch does make him look better and he scored from a corner. We almost made it 2-0 with the last kick of the half when snail Payne’s free kick hit the outside of the post.

Not best pleased with our line up but is what it is. Can’t see how Maguire deserves to play ahead of Grimes, and McCourt is a huge downgrade on the injured Oyeleke.

Not got the best feeling about this one but come on you blues..
