Was having a nice day out in Leamington today until the clock struck 3pm.

Absolute garbage.

I don't see you guys being dragged into an end of season relegation battle it's highly unlikely. Then again Watson needs to regroup and do something. It is getting slightly nervy in that bottom six with Farsley's shock result against Kidderminster!

We were on the top of our game today with some excellent football it was a joy to watch. It's a shame we lost some silly games back in 'January early February' - Otherwise no doubt about it we'd be in the play-offs.

Second half was some performance and the best I've seen in a long time, unfortunately I think Chorley bumped into a Darlo side that have threatened to show this type of form month's ago. The problem being inconsistency on many occasions when we thought we turned a corner. I didn't really expect us winning today against another team that are flying.

Well done lads whole team was man of the match for me.

Where has this Mitch Hancox come from? Always seemed to be a middling left back, now moved to midfield and can't stop scoring?

Hereford fans were saying worst player they have ever had when we signed him, must admit Watson signed him and played him left back and was utterly crap.
Askey comes in plays him number 10 and is one of main reason for the upturn in form,he never stops running.

Just been on other web site very quiet and a waste of time.

When Hancox signed Hereford fans could not believe he could get another club,he has been fantastic under Askey,he had him at Macclesfield when they won conference playing midfield.
Also Grimsby fans said Lewis was rubbish,
he looked far from that yesterday.

Yeah brilliant for us, perhaps not the most technical player but always worked his socks off which is what Sir John likes. Better on the wing than left back where he chipped in with a few goals (seemed to only ever score hattricks mind!).

Bad result for us at Telford.

No chance we grabbing top 7 this year, too inconsistent cannot get a good run of results and others can

Just got to aim for top 10 and a solid end of season and has been then an excellent season for us.

Great to see John Askey get York on a bit of a roll now. From above looks like he followed the blueprint when he first took over Vale and that was get the players fitter and the rest takes care of itself over time. Just a shame for him at the end at Vale he was let down by a number of bad apples in the club but seems it’s come together for him at York.

Exactly like you have put,but he has been able to get rid of bad apples, removed 8 from squad.
Players left have Commented on how much fitter they are and can certainly be seen on the pitch, due to the amount of late goals we have scored. Can’t believe how a full time club in a part time league can be so unfit under Watson.
Damage been done this season but is bringing fan base back on side.

Huge win for us at Curzon. Once again we had basically half a team missing with 3 academy players on the bench. In defence, Nugent was suspended for his daft 95th minute sending off against Alfreton. We also had Gerring, Harrison, Leadbitter and Jack James (still hasn't played all season) out. McClure dropped out again due another reoccurring injury and Armstrong (who has been our number 2 keeper) got injured in the warm up but had to play as Cole was on the bench... But yep was also injured.

So we had the bizarre scenario of our defenders taking goal kicks from the minute the game started, which instantly put us under pressure. And Curzon only needed a few minutes to find the net, with their lad seemingly able to dance his way into the box without a challenge and finish. Feared the worse, and they really should have got another. We were awful.

Second half, other than a clearance off the line by us, we looked a completely different side and Dawson in particular was causing Curzon problems down the right. After missing a huge chance Danny King found the back of the net with a 25 yard drive. We then hit the crossbar and then missed another massive opportunity. But in the last minute Dawson again attacked down the right and his cross was nodded in by Fabien Robert to give us the win.

With results going our way I think we probably need 2 more wins to be safe, but that's now 5 unbeaten which is some feat with the players missing.

Southport 0-0 Brackley

We were probably edging the game until Brackley had Dyche sent off for a professional foul (a rugby tackle on Tyler Walton when clean though on goal), after that Brackley upped their game and dominated despite being down to 10 men. They also had a goal ruled out, and Ndlovu missed a couple of sitters. I think Kevin Wilkin was also sent off after the final whistle for mouthing off to the ref.

I can see why Brackley don't concede many, a very streetwise (Hereford fans would day "horrible") team. Ivcan also see why they don't score many too, they seem to lack a bit of creativity. A 0-0 draw was probably a fair and predictable result given the amount of clean sheets both teams get.

Our season as such ended yesterday, we are too good to go down but simply put not good enough for top 7 so it’s just a case of getting as high as can now.

Deserved to lose yesterday apart from I’d say 10 minutes at start of second half where we were always second best, very slow and sluggish yesterday maybe playing the midweek hurt with being part time but hardly ever felt we troubled Gloucester, their winner was deserved although timing was unlucky.

We have never apart from 2 games in December looked much like a top 7 side since the change of management which hurt the season badly. Hopefully this is improved as season goes on or we may be in trouble next season.

Why streetwise or horrible? Think our disciplinary record is sound. Don't think Wilkin was sent off - he's a very placid manager all told. Think the bench was just angry about the ruled out goal for a push they couldn't see.

What’s your view on Watson.
A number of our players have said team morale has massively changed under Askey, definitely took a long time for him to sort out.
I have never liked a manager who just stands with his hands in his pockets and never seems to shout instructions to players, then states we were playing too deep, just scream at them and bloody tell them.

You knew when go go down for a free kick, when to make a foul if stretched etc. It wasn meant to sound more complimentary than derogatory, it's a key part to the game and something we do as well.

There was a definite red card after the final whistle, and it looked like it was to one of your bench. Whoever received it was still shouting at the ref whilst walking off the pitch. To be honest, your disallowed goal was at the far end of the pitch from us, but we were surprised it was chalked off.

Courtesy of Southport highlights video, clearly a yellow not a red. Definitely one, probably two defenders behind Dyche/ your striker. As it happens, Brackley then dominated and certainly should have taken the chances to bury the game. Two points dropped, I think. On to Guiseley tomorrow.

When the foul started taking place (soon after the ball was played through) your covering defender was nowhere near, and had only covered the ground after Dyche had already grappled Walton for a good couple of seconds. I'm sure if you're management team are that confident it was not a red card they will successfully appeal it, but I honestly can't see it happening.

On second viewing, you may be right, just, but "clear and obvious goal scoring opportunity", don`t think so. Still think the decision was very harsh. And Brackley certainly looked hard done by on the disallowed goal. No comment this end on the second "red" either. Would be very unlike Wilkin, but in his post match interview he was clearly simmering, partly at the decisions, partly, I guess, because of the poor finishing. If Brackley don`t go up, the lack of clinical finshing will be the reason. 19 clean sheets doesn`t quite compensate.
