I though it was an excellent game between 2 good sides. Unfortunately poorly refereed
Once Lennon was sent off we were very much up against it. Very impressed with your left winger and Wooton. Although we were never out of the game the better team won.
When we won the penalty your player 17? Kicked our player in the head .Surely dangerous play and a sending off?
Good luck for the rest of the season it's stops our run of 5 consecutive away wins but plenty of twists and turns before the end of the season
Ps just seen a clip of our goal cracking strike but your keeper seem to dive over it

Also, away teams celebrating opening goals provocatively in front of the Kop are now played five, lost five this season.

Both were injured/ill enough to count towards the unavailable numbers, but at least not in isolation so we could put them on the bench having decided to play in case of a complete disaster.
Can't believe Burchnall would endanger player welfare like that by naming injured players in the playing squad #EVILGEOGRAPHYTEACHER

We got Burchnalled in the home game too, he suddenly got his team knowing how to defend in that one and then today he pulls out another performance without his best players. The pressure is off him now.

Football is a very simple game, 22 players chase a ball for 90 minutes and then Aldershot score a 90+ minute winner

This one tops the lot though because Woking looked comfortable for a 2-1 win after 85 minutes and somehow collapsed

Both penalties that put Woking ahead and us level were terrible decisions from a horrendous referee

I don’t buy into the nice guy facade with Burchnall. He is clearly an absolute bastard behind closed doors. The opposite of James Rowe IMO.

Seems to have a bit of a hoodoo over the Red Dragons. Two vital 1-0s last season, 1-1 on your welcome back party earlier this season, and today. All in the space of 9 months.

It's not that I don't like them, it's just they are the gift that keeps on giving. Have a read of their forum and the January transfer thread, haha it's pure comedy. It's going to be even funnier when they fall to their preferred mid table position.
To be fair that thread is entertaining not because fans are thinking we could be on for Neil Taylor and Kayden Jackson, but that fans are also saying they aren't good enough for the team!

Did I read right you only had just over 6000 for your home game when your top of the league and its a Bank holiday
I know you’ve only been a Wrexham fan for 6 months but do look at some of the average gates Wrexham have had over the years. Those in glass houses and all that…

Ps I went to the Halifax game at Xmas and the crowd was 8106

Relying on the big teams to pull in the crowds for you, huh. Happy to oblige, chuck. :ds:

Hahahahahaha he’s just miscontrolled when faced with an open goal four yards out.
Box office stuff. Terrifying to think that he's going to play serious minutes if Wootton goes, but he's worth the price of admission on days like today. That is to say, if we win despite him

I thought apart from missing two open goals, he actually played quite well today… but then you can’t really be missing two open goals as a striker can you?

Red card killed it, no way we don't get atleast a point from that 11 v 11. Can't complain about the red though.
Pen miss was a key moment in the game, could of been 2-2 instead 3-1 down within a few minutes. Not going to critise Mullin for missing, shouldn't be playing anyway with his hamstring but even the best miss pen's, Salah the other day.
3rd goal was dubious if it crossed the line. Few reporters saying replay looks like it didn't go it but it was Marsden so I'd expect nothing less
Why would a red card kill it? You were a goal up. Anyone remember that team that got a red card at 2-0 down and half an hour to play, against this lot? What if it's more a question of guts than cards? Jus' sayin'.....:ds:

because people in Chesterfield are poor. Be kind.
Saw one of those adverts on TV over Xmas, please give what you can to the poor wretches of Chesterfield in these troubled times. Apparently the local football club has robbed them all, for pitch blankets.

Our match at Borehamwood was an extremely grim watch, with Oxborough booting 9 goal-kicks out for a throw-in, but we did what we had to do for the greater good of the league.
Counting goal kicks that go out of play. Tinpot thread

Ain't that the truth. County, us, Wrexham, Stockport, even Boring Wood challenge in the league above right now and you'd have to make a bloody good argument to change my mind
They aren’t in the league above, does that change your mind.

It looked well over the line to me from behind the goal.

Innit. Amd as much as RP can make me bang my head against the wall in frustration weve hardly got a monopoly on fans with strange opinions. Go on any fans message board and you can find individual people with an unusual take on things. Odd thing to criticise really.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Fuck me, what a great game of football. Commitment, aggression, passion, and that was just the stewards..
Fantastic advertisement for our level , 5000 plus crowd giving it some, usual collapsing barriers, 9 bookings ,managerial punch-ups , 2 dodgy penalties and an injury-time winner. Plus the usual turnstile delays.
Premier League it ain’t, but who needs it…
Don’t really want to single out anyone, but Corey Jordan was immense, surely a great future ahead.
Onwards and Upwards…

Good game of football today I thought. Wrexham looked a lot better than the away fixture even with ten men.
Thought the ref got the big decisions right, both penalties, the red card and the goal over the line, the linesman let him down there.
Fair play to us, we couldn't fill he bench and we started three players we wouldn't have with a full squad.
Thought the Wrexham fans were great apart from throwing coins or something at the linesman.
We're looking pretty hard to beat at the moment playing some decent football along the way. Should go close if we keep the form up.

A loss is almost guaranteed tomorrow especially given the fact the man tasked with motivating our team thinks we’re going to lose
