We never do well at Notts County and I didn't really expect today to be any different. Last season all our strikers got injured on the day of the game. Doesn't sound like we played particularly badly given we had 10 men for 80 minutes.

Nice break after this game to bed in the new signings.

None of our summer signings have failed to work out really, we just needed more than we made. Still over 50% of last seasons team playing.

We throw in one of these every few weeks. Chesterfield in the play-offs and Halifax away recently, just pure chaos.

Notts deserve massive credit there though IMO. Extremely brave decision to play, reacted immediately to going behind to a screamer and played some really lovely stuff. That we should’ve scored seven but equally lobbed them a penalty out of nowhere is the ongoing question mark with this team, but we are a joy to watch at times. Wrexham were a threat even with ten, they’ll be up there, as will we if we keep this team together through January.
