Awfully sad news. Genuine huge blow to us, his return was big for the 2nd half of the season. One of those really gutting ones, and awful for the lad too to have such issues at this early stage of his career

Like Cashis I think we look for someone now. We don't really have a direct replacement with Clarkes vision and passing
Anyone at Wrexham worth raiding to replace him.

Hey, moaning about the lack of home games is our thing

With rough calculations we've played 9 league games at home out of 21, Halifax have played 9 out of 20 and Southend 8 out of 19.

Strangely Chesterfield have played 20 Home games this season, all against Dover and Kings Lynn

Is it like, if you have 14 players + a keeper you have to play? I'm sure I heard it changed to that recently, which I think is way fairer than it was tbf. I guess if it does go ahead despite not having the numbers then the bench will tell, when there's like 1 or 2 guys sat there!
I thought it was 13 + a keeper but I'm probably wrong.

Yea you could be right, I know it's something round there. At times that's actually all we've had available anyway I think, what with the injuries, but we don't like to mention it

I can't believe we are both being fixtured out of it. It's that James Rowe, he's got fingers in so many pies.

Actually we are far more likely to win (and score goals) away so it's probably a good thing for us! and especially now nasty Mark Drakeford has shut us down.

Unless we’re just after some good PR (although not sure who is listening other than our own fans who are all shouting ‘call it off), we’ve said we could go for a postponement but don’t want to unless we physically don’t have enough players to field a team. :surr:

Again, depends who is available. We’ll at least have a keeper, and if we’ve Wootton, Palmer, Vincent, Cameron and Roberts available I’m happy to play the game while Wrexham have a couple of injuries and before they turn into some kind of NL galacticos

Any idea who's out for us Jacob?

Nope, not heard anything on that front. As said above I’m guessing our keenness to play comes from it being mostly fringe players but who knows!?!

I would think this. With Rodrigues already out, I can’t imagine we’d be as keen to be play if Wootton, Palmer or Roberts are also on the absent list!

Well surprisingly it's looking good for the match to go ahead tomorrow. This will be our 13th match away and another tough one. King Jorden has been quoted as wanting to play but after the kicking he got in the first game( 5 players booked for fouling him) I would advise he doesn't. That will weaken us but we are on a good run and looking to extend it

Assuming Notts are going ahead. It's either mind games from us or just some fringe players that are out.

Assuming we still have the core team we should give the Welsh Real Madrid a good game.

To be expected. Your entire team is made up of players who shouldn’t be playing at this level, apparently.

We've only had 2 in 83. We haven't played at home on a saturday in that time either
Our last home league game played at 3pm Saturday was Aldershot on 9th Oct, Next home league game scheduled at 3pm Saturday is Dover on 5th Feb. In more general terms we've also been stuffed by Alty crying off on Monday which means after being forced to play 2 games in 48 hours we are now having a 18 day break til our next game and that's against the mighty Larkhall Athletic in the Trophy.

I might have to take a sneaky peek of them training while I'm walking the dog tomorrow, see who is training.
Went a bit earlier than normal and no one was training when I walked past. Can't believe they won't be doing something somewhere though, I must have been too early.

0-0 draw inbound. Lump on.
Unfortunately I’d already lumped on a Man City/Chesterfield double so while I’d usually want promotion rivals to drop points can you pull your finger out.

Happy New Year All, hopefully the near normality continues for us football fans.

Dover at home and it should be 3 points really, these 3 games were just about getting the wins on the board with disrupted games for others. Most of our players getting back to fitness for us now and I just hope it stays that way with the likes of Walker as we may actually stay in the top 7 if we get in it!

Top is ridiculously congested now, it will come down to who can handle the pressure and who actually has that pressure.
