Bromley fans seem to be a real good sort. Were widely thought of as the friendliest bunch we'd played against on our forum. With their fans giving some of ours lifts back to the train station etc.

Bognor fans today were the best I've seen this season and some of the best I've seen in the Conference. Hope they do well (thought their teams not upto much).

View attachment 2949 FGR fans at Prenton Park watching their thug like village circus of a side make absolutely zero attempt to play football. Spent the entire game time wasting and fouling. I have massive respect for anyone supporting a club down in these depths of the football pyramid but you really wouldn't own up to following this joke.
I've logged in just to like that. :fl: Not even half what we took there on a Tuesday night when we had zero points. Tin Pot. :bdick:

Second highest away attendance at Blundell Park this season. Puts all the other clubs in our division (Lincoln aside) to shame.

What an odd comment. It's their biggest game of the season.
How many sides do you hear at Isthmian level taking 200 fans though? They didn't stop singing all game and I honestly haven't seen better away fans in 6 seasons.

I know there is not a lot of love for Eastleigh on here but their fans in the play offs last year were superb also considering the wupping they were getting.
(I mean in noise not numbers)

Ahh right ok.

After a fashion at least, not in as much detail as I've done in the past due to 'taking it on' late in the season.

216 Cheltenham at Braintree
Nothing yet for Boreham Wood v Macclesfield, or Guiseley v Dover.

Why?

It's miles away, (330 mile round trip) and it wasn't free travel.
Because your going for the title and it's a new ground against a potential play off competitor. Free travel should be a once in a while treat, not a fucking driver of away good away support.

I never said it was. We took less a similar distance to Wrexham when it was free travel!

And given Macc's historically shite support, not sure why you feel the need to have a go at us as well.

Because in the same position even with historically shite support would still take well over that amount so somewhere 165 miles away.

Macclesfield population c52,000
Nailsworth population c6000

You should be getting 9x better crowds, home and away. Our home crowds are better and away crowds not much worse. And you've got the front to have digs at our support? Laughable.

Your average attendance is 1668.
How can Macclesfield get 9x your crowds when their ground only holds 6355?

Also Grimsby's population is c88000 so by your reckoning we should be getting 24000 at home and we only get 4300 average, i never realised our support was so shit. :(

Well maybe they should expand then. Oh, actually, checked their crowds. No need to bother, not now or probably ever.

Potential fans in the district, stretching from North Bristol to Tewkesbury. As has been said on here before.

There is a huge amount of development taking place in the Stroud District, lots of potential new supporters. Being more accessible/better parking etc should help attract even more to games.

Given our growth in recent years, can't see why it wont be accelerated by this. We're going places.

People like you, as an away supporter, the new ground will be conveniently located near to Jn13 on the M5. So no more relying on satnav to navigate you round lots of little villages up and down the Stroud Valleys on your way to our current ground.
