Think we'll draw up at York on Saturday. We're unbeaten in 7 but got a feeling York will be well up for it after an awful run of results.

Don't underestimate Borehamwood, they may not get any fans and be an absolute shithouse of a club, but they are a decent, well organized football team. Not many teams will go there and win this season.

Which is why I think we'll lose...

Apparently every single one of Barrow's team were over 6ft v York. Lets hope it's windy on Saturday.

I'd take a point to be honest, but feel we might lose. York have a pretty good home record while we've struggled on the road this season and we're probably due a defeat.

i'll just qualify that for you - all Barrow's team against York were 6'2" or above - apart from 1 who was 6'0"

Carden has said Rovers will attack at Dagenham. I hoped that he's learned from the second half of the Woking game that Jennings S lacks the stamina to operate as part of a 2-man central midfield, so if we are going to play mirror the hosts and play 442, he should be dropped. Neither of the debutants, Almond and Tollitt had a good start last weekend and my preference would be to go with a 433 as we finished last weekend. If we play as the interim manager suggests, can see Rovers losing 3-1/4-2,though it will be a better game for the neutral than Rovers' last televised game.

Forest Green hosting Barrow, probably the pick of the rest. Paul Cox amongst the latest dozen or so linked with the Rovers vacancy, not something which appeals, but think his side can get something out of this one. Don't see Guiseley ending their winless run at Sutton.

Can see our game at Chester being a low scoring draw, maybe even a 0-0, something we don';t have many of. Hope am wrong and hope anyone, but maybe Lafayette who is struggling to add to his early glut of goals can prove me wrong and pop up with a late winner. That would do nicely

Adam Marriott has apparently broken his arm in our behind closed doors friendly on Wednesday, never rains...
Very unlucky that bloke.
EDIT : Or not as the case might be as everyone trained today including Raggett, find out tomorrow I guess.

Think a draw would be a great result for Tranmere's injury ravaged squad.
Was going to this game untill BT changed the kick off time. Hope we don't embarass ourselves infront of the camera's again.

No-one on our forum seems to think we'll get anything, but I don't see why we can't win. Of course, if we win everyone will be pissed off because McNamara won't be getting sacked.

We are a farce.

To win we'll have to score at least 2, because Brodie will almost certainly score against us.

we played York last week - and Brodie used to play for us too - so we expected the same - but to be honest he was awful and got subbed off...

The Danny Dyer bloke chopsing on in the background of our commentary is doing my tits in. "Come on", "liven up".

Imagine having your own media team paying these thieving clowns to broadcast and then you've got someone like that shouting all over it anyway. Switched to the Boreham Wood one, the commentator is on his own and sounds like he's doing a funeral but it does seem like he is slightly further away from the shouty twat but can still hear him in the background.

Christ, can you tell what our problem is? I thought scoring goals would be our problem this year but the defence is shocking.

We've got the 2nd of our matches against fellow promoted clubs, and I feel this has goals written all over it. Solihull seem to be scoring and conceding a lot, and though we're higher up the table we've yet to keep a clean sheet at home. Now I've said that it'll probably be a dull goalless draw
Stick to your earlier prediction. 2-3 at half time.

Great debut for the new Guiseley right back as he scores an own goal to put Sutton 1-0 up at the break

good game by all accounts (?), Gump hit the woodwork twice, but saved by their keeper who turned a late Jordan Williams effort out for a corner - best team Barrow have faced this season

To think this time last year we had the meanest defence in the top 6 tiers. Terrible defending and Solihull were well worth the win.
