I saw on the tv you've started to build that side stand? Is that still on track, going to be completed any time soon, out of interest?

Chairman Simon Corney said:
The new stand is going to be finished by the start of next season. There is no doubt whatsoever about that. There is nothing to be worried about.
We did have a problem with a supplier which set us back four or five weeks but we have overcome that now. People will start to get excited again soon.

We've gone with the diamond.

Mellis makes his first start. Forte could move out wide left with Winchester wide left to make a 433 at times if needs be.

It's been a cracking start from us here.

2-0 up - Jones & Wilkinson.

Swindon defence all over the place. Already had a player booked.

Not over though that's for sure - this is Latics we're talking about

Fancied Shwindon to mess this one up after they all celebrated MK's loss last night. Counting chickens and all that.

Goal disallowed - could have been 3-0.

Despite this positive start, I'd take a scruffy, backs to the wall 2-1 right now.

Hmm. The stats and commentary suggest we've been the better team in that half but we find ourselves 2-0 down. Paying the price for a nightmare opening 10 minutes.

Took a 2-0 lead but then Wilkinson, who started this game on fire with a goal and an assist, did his hamstring and came off and we've lacked that presence up field to hold the ball up.

I'm sure we've sat back a little now though hoping to hit Swindon on the counter, so it doesn't surprise me that they've controlled the game since we went 2 up, but it's a dangerous game we're playing.

Think Swindon have had one fairly decent chance, but other than that Kean has been relatively untroubled. Forte also had a goal chalked off for offside where our commentary suggest that was the wrong decision, however they do have a tendency to be a tad biased at times, so I'd prefer to see it with my own eyes before passing judgement.

I'm sure Swindon are going to come out flying here so we need to be strong for the opening 10 minutes. If it goes to 2-1 early in the 2nd half, I'd put my mortgage on Swindon getting at least a 2nd.

Dead leg. Same reason as Saturday.

We really miss him when he's not available.

Think we can be a bit aggrieved with that result. Seemed to dominate the game from 10 minutes onwards but an awful start has cost us. Credit to Oldham though who have now got their tactics spot on against us twice this season. Big opportunity missed with an even tougher away game to come on Saturday.

Excellent result. Swindon pressed, as you would expect, but we held firm, and if we were clinical enough we could have finished it on more than one occasion with Forte being particularly wasteful.

Cemented on our playoff position now, 5th I think, but we cannot waste this by not beating Colchester at BP at the weekend.

Unlucky Swindon - there's no doubt you'll continue to challenge for Autos though.

We need Branco out of our side as soon as possible, he simply is not up to standard.

Long term gains.
Yeah fair play to Oldham, did what they had to in the second half.

Wouldn't fancy them in the playoffs...feels nailed on that it'll happen though!!

He was lucky to still be on the pitch really as he committed a few fouls after being booked.

Byrne injured? I breathed a sigh of relief when I didn't see him on the teamsheet.

Byrne was ill tonight. Don't think his absence was the problem as Gladwin sounded like our best player.

Well we had to work hard for that, swindon are a good side and I can see why they are where they are. A lot of teams would of crumbled under that pressure in the second half but we dug in and held on, we are at last starting to show a bit of resilience. A good ten days for us and sets us up well for Colchester at home on Saturday.
