Many years ago on TFF a feature like this was run, any interest in it again now the football season is ending (till France anyway)?
Would just be a standard list per member with a group stage and then a knockout format to determine the forums favourite.

To get close to 10, I'll need to leave out those that I've not played at least a couple of times in the last year - which casts aside gems from the catalogue of such as Zappa, Beatles, Dylan, Led Zeppelin, The Who and Stevie Wonder, not to mention individual classics from the Punk, Reggae, Folk and Blues genres. Giving an order is near impossible, so may be influenced by a wish to raise profiles.

Get it over with. List on the way.

How is this going to work, points based list or voting system, if voting system why does it matter what order we submit our list?

Got my ten but ordering it is impossible! Surely if they're going against others in groups, they don't need to be ordered?

Group stages first and then a straight knockout 1v1. And the points will be used to create several seeded pools from which groups shall be drawn for the first stage so we don't have too greater imbalance based on early preference. The amount of groups and how many in each group will have to be based on how many lists and individual but at the moment 8 groups with 4 through from each is probably most likely.
And a top ten is damn difficult, as a few have said, there are so many options it can change so easily.

Okay, I've hanged my 'Do Not Disturb - Hard At Work' sign on the door of my private space. Hopefully, I'll have my list in by tomorrow evening :cool1:

Thank goodness for that, I've been away and have only just seen the thread. Expect my list of predominantly prog rock sometime on Tuesday.

I'm not sure if it's worth posting a link in General Chat. I know I hardly venture in here and I've only just seen this.

I think I need a little help Aber. I just realised I had 5 Manowar albums down on my list, but that would look silly wouldn't it? Which one is your personal fav Aber mate? Is 'Into Glory Ride' a better album than 'Fighting the World' or 'The Triumph of Steel'? What about 'Sign of the Hammer'?
