With Wilder 99% gone, we've got a big job on trying to replace him.

Needs to be someone that plays the same way as Wilder, fast, attacking football with a high press all over the pitch as that's the squad we've got. Not sure where to aim or who we could attract to be honest.

If we cant have the dream team of Shaq and Bayo in then Adkins would definitely be on my radar. As would Cotterill, Jim Bentley and a few others.

Some ridiculous names being mentioned by our fans, always happens I guess.

Realistic options?

Steve Cotterill
Neale Ardley
Paul Tisdale
Chris Powell
Nigel Adkins
John Coleman

Ardley seems to have done a very good job in Dons whilst keeping under the radar. No idea what his football is like, but he'd seem to me to be the most 'up and coming' of that lot.

When they played us towards the end of the season the football was pretty decent, fast paced and attractive. I think he's one I'd want for sure.

All decent candidates in that list. Cotterill did very well with Bristol City in 14/15 but I imagine they would have had a big budget? Can't see Tisdale leaving Exeter either. I think Adkins may be a decent shout. Did well at Scunny when they got promoted from L1 and both clubs are similar size, Adkins may want to get back into football asap too, I imagine he was planning for the summer at Sheff U.

I imagine Adkins, Cotterill, et al, will be looking for jobs at lower-end Championship/top-end League One clubs, so Northampton seems unlikely.

No chance of it being Westley, going by what our chairman said about him.

A slight move in the betting for Robert Page.

The Vale fans would pack his bags and pay his taxi fee down I would imagine.

No idea why he has appeared in the betting.

Seems to have originated from one of the annual "League 1 transfer rumours" Twitter accounts that appear around the same time every year claiming to have sources within each club.
