Sorry to see you go Pools but hopefully with Askey in charge you will be back soon.
At least there will be no Wrexham to compete with next season so more of a level playing field down there.
Gutted for you lot, I genuinely am. :(

Sometimes I hate football.

Saw the result. Fist pump, jump up and down like a looney. Shouts of get in there. Then calm down a bit and realise that although it's great for me it's not so great for other folks on here.

Not quite safe but 1 point in two games (one at home) and we are here next season.

Only problem with that is having to put up with the Wrecsham bandwagon.

Sums up a lot of our games this season, conceded some poor goals and that was another, and our record of coming from behind is abysmal. Wild makes his substitutions too late, giving them next to no time to make an impact. Thought it was a decent advert for League Two though, end to end at times. Just hope the nobheads behaved themselves.

Shameful from us, not a lick of fight in 90 mins, congrats Crawley on survival.

I’m no Singh fan but that’s on the players today, miserable performance from front to back, biggest game of the season, fans did their part players couldn’t be arsed.

Down without a whimper.

Fully deserved result for you lot. We are awful, the players are spineless
Yeah if I was in your shoes I’d be absolutely fuming, I watched your game away at Bradford a few weeks ago and genuinely thought you’d stuff us. Didn’t see any of the fight or quality you had in that game on the pitch today. I’m sure you’ll be back

We were a disgrace, you deserved your win. Can’t moan at all, we’ve not been good enough all season. Recruitment in the summer was a disgrace and it was always ending this way unfortunately. My biggest concern is that we will do a Scunthorpe

As good as Tuesday was for us, today was terrible. 1-0 loss to Mansfield. Draw probably would have been a fair reflection on the game but once we fell behind we certainly didn't do enough to get the equaliser.

We approached the game to get a draw, the game largely played out like we would have wanted, deflected goal aside.

Fair play to Mansfield, defended really well and didn't give us too many opportunities. Our small squad and the injuries we have hitting us today, desperately needed a difference maker off the bench and we could only call on Jake Taylor and a 16 year old making his Stevenage debut, having been out on loan at Potter's Bar last week.

A disappointing afternoon all told.

Since we spaffed them chances at Stevenage they've not looked interested, the last 3 performances have been shameful. Yes we know they're shit players but you'd at least give it a try, 7000 in there today mostly in full backing of them and they played with all the intensity of a snail climbing Kilimanjaro.

This club is rotten. Absolutely laughable the last two seasons and it's fucking pathetic we are going back there, unforgivable, total laughing stock.

Just need to make sure you stay down there this time and not take up a place when someone more deserving could have it.

Gutted for Hartlepool and all involved with the club with the exception of Oli Finney who deserves to rot in non league obscurity for his honking attitude when with us.

At least with Askey you've got a manager who can get you back to this level.

Gotta feel for Rochdale and Hartlepool, two proper clubs suffering from the influx of rich folk's playthings with no fanbase - Salford, Harrogate, Fleetwood etc all clubs who will eventually collapse when their backers pull out.

I'll never forget the feeling of being relegated to the conference, and the Cheltenham fans at Brunton Park taunting us. Grim stuff.

Fuck off Walsall you useless shambles of a team, yes everyone beats you except us.

If teams go on the beach at this stage of the season they should have a 20 point deduction.
Did say not to rely on us.

If that’s the last thing mansfield do this season, if we don’t make the playoffs, if we don’t go up, beating that fucking joke of a side and a club filled with absolute twats will make me a happy man

Fuck off stevenage you c**ts.

Would agree with you about the rich boys play things. However, we haven’t helped ourselves. Owners got all the big decisions wrong trying to do it on the cheap. And the players today (most of the season) have been a disgrace.

We only have ourselves to blame

No idea where 8 minutes came from either but I don’t really mind, Bradford much much improved in the second half but we could have been out of sight in the first. Sincerely hope you guys make it up this season, you’ve spent long enough down here.

Gutted for Dale and Pools, two fantastic clubs with an awful lot of league history between them. I would also be furious at Singh too, that Scottish experiment you had last summer has never worked anywhere, cheap at the time and then costly to fix. Even more so now.

One plus side assuming the Hollywood Reds and Notts County come up there isn’t the same bottleneck of big clubs at the top outspending everyone else. I’m sure you’ll both be back soon.

Very nervy afternoon at Sixfields, 3-1 harsh on Harrogate but we were very clinical in a first half in which we were second best and then managed the game well in the second.

Post match celebrations given some extra oomph when word went round of Gills equaliser, so as I said earlier, up the shagging gills imo.

This team has resilience in spades and we are inching towards the line, although I’m still convinced there’ll be a nasty surprise in store after last seasons ending.

Commiserations, Pools fans.

An entertaining end of season scrap at Prenton Park. Not sure how Grimsby failed to score, considering they were the better team for most of the game, but we'll take it. Atmosphere was non-existent, excluding the Harry Haddocks in the away end who came in decent numbers for a nothing game, and there definitely wasn't 5,600 there. Emptiest I've seen the ground for a while for a Saturday home league game.

Goes without saying the 8 minutes but the referee wasn’t the one to blame for our performance/result. I’ve never seen a City side as scared as that one today, we know how mentally weak they are hence having to bring in the likes of Clayton and Derbyshire in Jan but that was next level bricking it. 10 points we’ve dropped this season having conceded in time added on. Difficult to see after days like this, another on a long long list of games this season, how we get promoted given how weak we are when the going gets tough.

I thought we played some decent football in the second half and deserved the win today. There were particularly good performances from Harvey Saunders, Rhys Hughes, Regan Hendry (who we will hopefully sign) and Josh Hawkes.

Hawkes scored his eleventh goal of the season, which is a good return from midfield in an average side. In all likelihood he will be sold in the summer, unfortunately.

Now for a new manager.

Didn't deserve to lose to Carlisle - bossed most of the game, but couldn't score.
The game may yet come back to haunt Carlisle though as the ref has confirmed he will be looking at the footage of a 1st half incident he missed - a clear elbow from Gordon that should have been a red card - and retrospective action (red card) will be taken if needed
