Scruffy game but Hartlepool edging it and hitting the post.

Should of been game over after about 12 minutes, 4 great chances and I mean good chances and 1 scored. They scored with their first entry into our box and we’ve gone flat since. I envisage Clarke is not happy!

The possession thing is the same as the other two games, they’ve had plenty but not really hurt us. Covolan has nailed their number 9 as the HT whistle went.

Just on that Covolan clearance quite why the referee was speaking to Lucas at all afterwards I don’t know. If anyone was at fault (and it was a pure accident) it was the Dale player for standing right in front him kicking it. That’s the chance you take.

Other than that think this is definitely the day we see Politic at around the hour mark. Wouldn’t be surprised if Walker comes on to add some strength in the midfield also.

Tight game here, we missed a couple of decent chances but Exeter nearly got in at the end there.

We definitely look the better footballing side and committed just 1 foul in the entire half apparently. Just hand us the fair play award right now.

Pretty torrid first half for Rovers with Sterry and Goodwin causing all sorts of problems down our left. This line-up isn’t working for Rovers need to change things quickly.

Josh Hawkes on for the last 15, don't do this to us.

Mansfield had two straight reds, not sure what happened with either. Miserable day to be a stags fan.

Quinn sent off for a offball incident which I didn’t see, although the Harrogate player did the rolling around act to get him sent off. Shithousery top level.

Bacislly were wank, but also this ref has quite literally gave us nothing, it’s been impossible

I’ve gone pub now, but my analysis is the referee is wank and our defence is significantly worse.

Looking forward to Walsall :D

Oh fuck off, 89th minute lads.
There was an air of inevitability. Only got ourselves to blame. We've been the better side for much of the game but haven't made it count.

Seeing Josh Hawkes come on and make a difference has just increased my frustration at the way we bolloxed up our pursuit of attacking players in the transfer window

Easiest 3-0 you'll see at Oldham.
apart from Nicky Adams and Dylan Fage Oldham showed nothing going forward.
goals from Ollie Banks (3rd in a week) from 25 yards, Zanzala (3rd of the season) who waltzed past 3 defenders to score and Grayson direct from a free kick.

Pretty lively for a nil nil, feels like we might have shaded it but not like Exeter couldn't have nicked it too. Rare clean sheet for us.

Agreed, sounded like we missed some great chances first half and early in the second half, Tranmere seemingly well on top last 15 (introduction of Hawkes) but we can't keep fluffing opportunities like we do, Cullen and Olomola need to step it up now if we're going to be without Burey for a spell.

That was really frustrating.

Not sure we deserved that win - it was a tough game and Pools probably had the better chances - but we kept plugging away and edged it.

The lack of cutting edge is still worrying.

Absolutely awful result that. Three terrible goals to concede and countless missed chances. All the hard work last week undone with that.

Manny unfortunately cost us big time today with his sending off, didn't really stand a chance once we were down to 10.

Team showed fight at least which we never saw last season.

Well, that feels like a defeat. Think Walsall scored from their only attack - certainly only attempt at goal. They then go down to ten men before half-time, and you’ve got to fancy your chances to put a few passed them.

Obviously, we completely dominated the second-half; silly amount of corners, but all a bit powder puff, really.

Vernam should’ve hurried his chance in the first half. Disappointing not to pick up all three points - just not ruthless enough.

Another 90 minutes of, mainly, tippy tappy nonsense. 95th min pen got us a deserved point, though. We are creating very little despite passing the ball around for what seems little purpose.

The new lad from Brentford could be the answer - Gilbert.

That was really slack from us defensively there. First time I can say it this season but those in the defence have not turned up for us today at all.

Jamie Proctor was absolutely immense for us. As for Devante Rodney on the other hand… I don’t know what’s wrong with him but he needs to sort it out.

Congrats to Dale on the win though. Cant have any complaints about that result really.

I was in the sandy pate by half time, came out for 10 mins and went back in again.

Let’s take things into perspective, the ref was hopeless, but harrogate were the better side throughout

Clough started with two defenders on the pitch. He deserves criticism for that. Gordon and McLaughlin are not defenders.
