Are we the first to announce these? Basically, prices unchanged.

Only a couple of changes I can see, most notably that student prices apply to anyone in full time education, regardless of age (was up to 21 last season I think). Now doing family season tickets, too.

Usual ST benefits - discount off official coach travel, discount on food and drink in club run areas and free bus travel on match days. Still doing the discount on next seasons ST if you've got an un-used stub. I bought an ST and managed 5 games this season, so that's £90 off next seasons for me! Might even get to a few games...

We're already well into the second phase of season ticket sales. I've got the price structure here:

I don't think matchday ticket prices have been released yet.

The ticket offer missing is Poachers stand (the family stand), cost a tenner for an adult and child.

I don't know what your normal matchday admission is, but £99 for a season ticket seems superb value at around £4.50 a pop.

Think a couple of FL sides do similar early deals on season tickets, Bradford and Huddersfield spring to mind. Cracking offer but it does significantly reduce your matchday income unless people buy food and programmes etc to help.

I have no idea how Sutton can afford to sell Season Tickets at those prices. The season ticket sales will make up a massive proportion of the attendance each week. I'd buy one even if I wasn't interested and only wanted to watch a few games a year. Most fans who go week in week out would be more than happy to pay a couple hundred quid a year, and I can't see that it will bring in enough beer/pie sales to justify it.

Match day ticket sales will be negligible next year for games where there aren't massive away followings, and let's face it, Sutton away is hardly a fixture you look out for come July.

How dare we try to try and promote our club in a difficult market........

Our board subsidized the scheme in the hope that it would attract new supporters. And it worked. We also needed to sell 600 to break even last year which we did.

As an exile, who can only get to one home game a month, I bought a season ticket this season, because even at one game a month I would save money. As it happens, I've been spending more inside the ground then I would in previous seasons. And I'm not the only one. It's pretty safe to assume our bar, food, merchandise and programme takings have increased quite a bit this season.

BTW after tomorrow our season ticket prices will go up to £125 for adults, £95 for concessions, £25 for teens and £10 for kids. And that's with our now expected promotion

I'm not criticising, just don't see how you can afford it - I know we couldn't. We need £1,000 gates to break even and that's with our £270 season tickets. Reducing the prices wouldn't get enough people through the gates to make it worthwhile. Obviously good for you fans but it's not sustainable

Maybe in the long-term it isn't. But as a short-term way to increase our fanbase (and that for sure is working) than it's a gamble you have to take. Football at all levels is expensive, how do you expect new people to turn up with the prices charged at our level? Taking a gamble to get people interested isn't a bad thing, and long-term can be beneficial

It all depends on whether you think people will continue supporting Sutton when the prices return to a normal level, which is effectively tripling it.

I understand it's hard to get people to turn up at our level with the prices, but most clubs can't afford to drop the prices. We've worked really hard over the past year and particularly the past few months to increase attendances and it's starting to pay dividends, although I think the success on the pitch has helped.

That said, we have a long way to go but I think there are better ways to boost attendances than charging pennies to get in (or nothing at all a la Eastleigh).

Not a dig at you at all, and for what it's worth I've always liked Sutton (especially if you keep Ebbsfleet down) and I understand you're hardly going to complain about paying too little!

Of course it depends a lot on success on the field, and we've had a very successful 8 years under our current boss (hopefully to be added to tomorrow with the league title). But we're also 7 miles from Selhurst Park, 10 from Stamford Bridge, not to mention all the other London clubs. We need to be ultra-competitive with our pricing structure.

Btw we've already sold around 650 season tickets for next season

Yes but everybody who would ordinarily go to at least a few games a season will have bought a season ticket at that price. I'm 100% certain you will not make enough in sales of beer and food to recoup those losses

We have released ours, and I can only assume it has been done with the new owners blessing as there are some fantastic deals in there.

- Early bird (23.04 to 31.05) - £200 Adult or concession ST in ALL areas of the ground.
- £2 knocked off on the day prices all around the ground (£19 in the Bench, £15 in the Pop)
- Family ST (2 adults & 2 children) for £400 (£17 per game)

I would like to think that we should shift over 1,000 ST with that early bird deal. Continue the momentum forward into the new year.

You'd be quite wrong on that last part. Well if you add in other stuff (and the pitch)

Yep - it was £21 I think. However, it provides an excellent alternative to the football on offer as you have fantastic views from the top!

We've announced our matchday prices for next season http://suttonunited.net/news.php#3494

I think we'll be amongst the cheapest for adults next season.

Also in that article is mentioned that we will be extending our 2nd early bird season ticket deal until we reach 1000 sales. As of Monday we had sold 939

You'd be quite wrong on that last part. Well if you add in other stuff (and the pitch)

We sold 629 season tickets last season at roughly the same prices as they are this season. If we sold them at the price you are selling them, after a bit of maths, and a few assumptions (about how many people of each age buy ST's etc, with the same assumptions used on both clubs), I make we would have to sell around 2300 season tickets, to make up both the same revenue as the season tickets at our old prices, and to cover the loss of matchday revenue. That is even considering more people buy food/drink.

Edit - that isn't a dig at your setup, it is quite commendable. However, it just isn't feasible for a club like ourselves who have no investors - we would never be able to shift anywhere near 2300 season tickets.

I'm quite intrigued by this because you averaged 1k last season, you're on to sell 1k cheap ST's so your model is effectively based upon away fans?

Not to my knowledge.

No complaints from me with our prices.

I paid a tenner a game in the Ryman South. Five quid more to watch football four leagues higher aint to bad really

Not to my knowledge.

In 2014/15 we averaged less than 600. Our model as it were is about increasing the support base

We have a 3G pitch which generates a fair bit of revenue for the club. Certainly more than match day and season ticket sales ever could. Add to that the fact that prior to last season (championship and first season of discount ticket prices) our average attendance for each of the previous 4 seasons was less than 600.

Announced ours yesterday - no chances from last season:

SUPER-VALUE EARLY BIRD SEASON TICKET (Before June 20th 2016)

Adult: £270
Over 60's: £230
Under 18's: £85

Season Ticket (After June 20th 2016)
Adult: £315
Over 60's: £255
Under 18's: £110

Prices on the turnstile have also been frozen, offering superb value for money once again. Prices on the day therefore stay as follows:

Adult £15
Over 60 £12
Under 18 £6
Under 11 FREE (with adult)

Not sure I'd call £270 season ticket SUPER-VALUE but at least it hasn't gone up. Who is going to pay £315 for a ST (£13.70 per game) when you can pay £15 on the gate? You'd have to make 22 out of the 23 home games to be better off buying the season ticket
