Hey, I only placed Crawley out of the bottom 2 because I'm a fan.

I had no hope of us actually beating relegation.

Our back line that now plays we only had one of them when I made my prediction and he was a sick note.

Kelly had just been relegated with Rochdale. Darcy was a bit part player at Swindon and we were signing kids from National North and South.

Predicting a turbulent second term for Hughes culminating in his dismissal midway through the season and Wild to get poached after another good start seeing Barrow slide down the table.
31st of May. Cashing in the first part of an all mighty truckload of points here. Puts me miles ahead of everyone else.

I predict that The_Viking_Magpie will reappear from his exodus now Notts are promoted and will still be a fucking annoying twat. Oh and I predict that Mansfield will get to October and still won’t have played anybody decent, and will batter all the shit sides they play in that time 1-1 or 0-0.

Sorry SOC and conker but I’ve managed to trump you both.

Thankfully I wouldn’t know, my avoidance with pressing the ignore button on posts is supreme.

Also the Mansfield bit is wrong ;)

End of Year and half term report: -
Overwhelming votes for leader Stockport with Mansfield also getting quite a few.
Not surprising voters more accurately selected teams near top of table although the highest anybody thought Barrow would achieve was 7th.

Most popular votes for each league position.
Some good forecasts but also some way out.

I think Sutton will struggle to stay up next season along with Just Stop Oil Rovers

Good shouts!

1 Stockport
2 Mansfield
3 Gillingham
----------------------------------
4 Notts County
5 Salford
6 Wrexham
7 Swindon
----------------------------------
8 Bradford City
9 Doncaster
10 Barrow
11 Grimsby
12 MK Dons
13 Sutton
14 Walsall
15 Crewe
16 Tranmere
17 Forest Green
18 Colchester
19 Accrington
20 AFC Wimbledon
21 Harrogate
22 Newport
----------------------------------
23 Morecambe
24 Crawley

Updated my previous table. Feel like any team from Tranmere upwards could get into the playoffs. The only two predictions I'm confident of are Stockport and Mansfield going up. I think Flynn will click with Swindon and take them up via the playoffs.

Absolutely shocking predictions.

A bit early and L2 has a lot of unknowns after four years away, you definitely lose track of players to look out for when you're in the scrapheap.

1. Stockport. Challinor's a winner, no reason not to improve.
2. Gillingham. Money talks, apparantly they've got loads.
3. Mansfield. Clough is steady but lots of goals there and due some luck with injuries.
4. Grimsby. Hurst is dour but also pretty successful.
5. Salford. Money again.
6.Wrexham. Yet more money and will surely sign some class this month. Parky is also a decent manager.
7. Swindon. Proper yo-yo club, due an up bounce.
8. Doncaster. Based purely on their fans being happy with transfer business.
9. Bradford. Should do better but Mark Hughes is an anchor not a successful manager.
10. Barrow. Limited resources but Wilde is competitive.
11. Notts. Think we'll play attractive stuff but concede too many to go higher first season back.
12. MK Dons. Anywhere from 8-15 so put them at 12.
13. Sutton. Michael Gray does a very good job but there's some relatively big hitters to get past to go higher.
14. Tranmere. I've no idea really, could be doing you fellas a huge disservice.
15. Walsall. Just a guess, like Tranmere.
16. Wimbledon. See above.
17. Newport. See above, above.
18. Accrington. Always a tight budget and nothing shouts out promotion push.
19. Colchester. Been bottom third for a few years ?
20. Crewe. Looking forward to going back there, been more than any other away ground for some reason.
21. FGR. Big Dunc to be gone by October, Vince to throw enough at it to keep them up.
22. Morecambe. Budget cuts on the back of a relegation and a whole new squad. Looks a tough season.
23. Harrogate. Not sure they're spending enough to stay up. If Weaver fails who's going to sack him?
24. Crawley. I asked who the basket case club was and Crawley was the answer. Bad owners send you down.

Absolute punt, surprising how quickly you lose touch when you're not in it and L2 has been our home for years with a couple of sojourns up and down.
For the most part miles away. Fair play to Crawley and Morecambe, both doing really well against the odds.
What's struck me most is how much of a physical grind it is over a long season. A couple of injuries and stuck with a transfer window your season can go South very quickly.
Manager changes can make a huge difference too. MK Dons got a good one, we lost one and the season can turn on it.

If Crawley make the playoffs I think Scott Lindsay is MOTS. Not only have they overachieved massively but they’ve done it playing the right way.

Big mentions to old man Wild and Lee Bell.
