Northampton has zero creativity and their decision making is so poor. You’ll be fine
Agreed, boot it up and hope for the best. Mansfield have blocked everything so far that has come at them. Have Northampton had a clear chance?

The hoskins one from the penalty shout maybe. But, we've won zero games when conceding first this year, don't have the system/squad or whatever to deal with teams who sit back.

As away performances go Mansfield have done about as well as you possibly could in this pressure situation. Well done to them.

So far in these playoffs no team has won after trailing the first leg. Up to us to change that tomorrow night.

Either through Clough making the right call with the formation, or Mansfield's centrebacks having a fine game, they've done well defensively.

Did that commentator just say 80 points would have been enough to win it in 2019-20? There was a reason for that.

A weird defensively sound performance from Mansfield, which is what Clough clearly intended to do with that line-up.

We’ve played most of the season really offensive with a lot of good one touch play in the opposition half, typical Clough really, but sometimes you gotta do what we did tonight, I mean Oates was not in the game at all really. Clean sheet was unimaginable for me pre-match, we just did a job on them defensively.

Congrats to the Stags fans on here. Hopefully we can do the business tomorrow and see you all at Wembley :)

Fair play to Mansfields fans. Fully expected them to be on the pitch at FT, would probably be slipping all over the place if they did!

Yeah fair play, I was certain the way they stood at the front that they’d storm the pitch

Never like fans running onto the pitch away from home. Especially when the job isn’t yet done

Well, all over. Would probably prefer that to losing at Wembley itself. At least all of those Strikers bar Aperre will be packing their bags come Sunday.

Good luck to all left to play at Wembley.

That Mansfield defensive display 2nd half was as good as it gets. Every header won. Every shot blocked. Strange that for all the pressure and shots, keeper had little to do. So good was the defending.

Well after everything that has happened this year, it just wasn't meant to be for us. The Rovers business plus unlucky incidents has probably evened out the luck we got in the covid play-off ppg situation. Good luck to Mansfield in the final.

Northampton away was our low point this season, we hit the bottom two after they comfortably beat us so to go back to Sixfields and do that tonight was superb.

Mansfield were solid tonight well done. That said Northampton really lacked creativity but Stags did what was required.

Mansfield pretty much perfect away performance. Got the goal and then made it very difficult for Northampton to get any clear chances.

Curle and McLean bang on for me post match analysis regarding some incidents tonight

Think a fair few of you got carried away by the crowd groans, the referee didn’t though.

Well done Mansfield, sounds like the perfect performance.

I always thought that Northampton would really struggle to come back from the disappointment and pain of the final day. Football can be a total c*** sometimes.

I hope Swindon go up, personally but I think Mansfield will be a tough nut for either County or Vale.

Football is shit ain’t it.

Didn’t get the rub of the green with the big decisions that can’t be denied, but once Mansfield were sat in and waiting for us to break them down I thought that was us cooked.

Dogshit strikers coming on to save the day was never gonna end well.
