That’s proper big club shit.

Just occurred to me our 3000 sellout allocation means we're taking roughly 1000 times more to Bristol than 2 Star Flyde took to Wembley both times combined. Massive.

and yet we’re just playing for it, not contesting it at all just plodding along.

the numbers are going up, they’ll be more restrictions, wait until winter and we’ll all be in again doing nothing.

It’s time to crack on, no time for this nonsense

It's just fucking mad. There's too many powerful people with vested interests prolonging this

Once everyone is vaccinated they ought to open fully .

Otherwise are they saying it doesn’t really work?

surely that’s the point.

there’s no further need for it to happen, we were told to lock down while people were vaccinated, folk will have been.

After that it’s like nah, we’ve done what you’ve said, no deal now

It‘s more like we’ve got a government acting in the virus’s interest.

Anyway, if Wrexham do have mega resources Challinor must be near the top of their list.

Jeez leave the Covid stuff for Twitter or Facebook eh. This place has mercifully been free of any pointless debates or conspiracy theories throughout, and all the better for it.

Anyway, hope Torquay win now after WHAT HARTLEPOOL DID

Not happy about that. I suspect it’s nothing though and the odds have changed because some random person has said he’d be a good manager for us.
Looking at the other names in the running, why would you not fancy Challinor?

Pretty much all of us would like him to be our manager. I suppose it makes sense as it'd mean a move back home for him and we seem to be taking a bit of time announcing the new manager. If Challinor is coming here, it would make sense to delay until after the playoff final.

Pressure on Hartlepool to get promoted then or big DC is off. Has a habit of failing in the play offs though

No, everyone at risk has been offered vaccination by now. Waiting until everyone is vaccinated is a vote for eternal restrictions.
21st June was late enough.
Fair point - certainly by July 19th you have to hope most restrictions will go but can see some indoor ones staying .

There are a range of options for the Brotherhood to take if this indeed happens.

Anyway everyone shut the fuck up and stop derailing HMS Piss The Play Offs.

a bit undecided as to which team i want to come up;- both teams have been here for a while and both teams will probably struggle to repeat this season's form if they don't go up. If Pools don't go up they'll probably lose both DC and Oates. Torquay may fair slightly better as they're in the middle of nowhere - but this could be both teams best chance to get up in a long time....
Torquay plus points - it's a good away day, they have a former Barrow player in their team and they won't be in for the same players as us.
Torquay negative points - that player is Asa Hall who was shit for us - but to be fair our whole team was shit that season.
Hartlepool plus points - there are a fair few players that have played for both Pools and us including Joel Dixon, Richie Bennett, Tom White and Luke James and longer ago the likes of Nicky Peverell.
Hartlepool negative points - they'll probably be in for some of the same players if they come up....

I'll go for Pools (sorry Pools fans) - mainly because Pevs has an affinity for both our clubs....

On balance I'd say we need this more than Torquay. Torquay will have Johnson and are unlikely to have their squad decimated. It will be a very big blow if we don't win and one I doubt we'd ever recover from.

Shame we are playing Torquay as both clubs have always had a good relationship, two proper clubs and one of us has to lose out. I'd rather we were playing a tinpotter or a moneybags Brother as it wouldn't make any difference if they lost.
