You really need to see us before you write us off as relegation contenders. Think about a team with no morale, no energy and no sharpness, then think of a team ten times worse than that and you have us.

Again Bore off, I don't need to think about it, I've watched if for the last 30 games.

don't need to do table stats anymore, its one of Barrow or Southend to join us in being relegated. 1st May 2021 will decide which one, good luck

If you think 2 of the current bottom three are getting anywhere near 43 points this season and every other one of the 9 sides between you and them, overtaking you as well you're talking more shite than an argument between Masi and Shep

Well they each have three points in the bag already for when they play us.

It's an insult to totally useless teams like Grimsby and Barrow that Carlisle have the audacity to announce themselves on this thread

If there's a team who could go so far as getting relegated after being top in January, it would be us.

it’d take barrow grimsby and southend until about 2026 to catch up with your current points tally!

You're probably right that they can't make up 17 points (that's all the gap is) in the remaining games this season, but they'll certainly make up enough I think for us to belong in this thread. Would you say that 10 points from the drop puts you int he relegation thread? We'll be there come April.

Southend will, they're a reasonable mid table side that got off to a bad start due to the embargo and whatnot. We've got two games in hand but there's absolutely no chance we are getting two points from them.

You're like a League Two Barnet. Massive points buffer and games in hand yet you're somehow convinced you're in a relegation battle.

Whilst i think (hope) we will just about cobble enough points together to stay in the league my biggest fear is if it comes down to having to get something in a dogfight at Barrow and Grimsby at the end of the season. I just doubt this group of players have the toughness or character to grind it out. End of the month we have Newport at home and then trips to Crawley (a rare team we usually do well against) and Colchester which could be ones to target.

I think we must be the only club that never seem to get a new manager bounce when we make a change.

The only thing we have in hand now on anyone is more defeats. Our goal difference isn't as bad as it 'should be' if we were playing all our games. Other than that, you can pretty much just take our points total at face value.

Positive is we’ve looked ok with huge injuries against two of the top sides. Maybe we will create more against the weaker ones. I don’t know but we need to get something quick. Oldham looks huge.

I'd kind of written off Oldham as they are very good away from home and that Bahamboula up against Mills probably is only ending one way.

It'd just be like Vale to go and randomly do over Bolton a second time however.

Need Worrall back more than anything. When he is on the pitch he at least can create, nobody else has that ability and Hurst (who did well tonight) it's too much to ask of him at this stage of his career.

Oldham, Colchester and Newport are the key ones. Win those we are about safe.

Doesn’t sound great for Worrall as they are on about scans so have to see on that score.

It’ll come down to Pope no doubt to dig us out. If Cambridge and Salford are top end it shows just how shit we are in this division though, that’s the worry and not sure how we improve this mess.

Carlisle could still get autos if you buck your ideas up and win your games in hand, you don't belong in this thread. I'll stick my neck out and say you're safe from relegation

Are Grimsby and Barrow the most favourable candidates to rejoin the tin potters league then? Shame for Barrow cause if they hadn't lost Evatt they'd probably have been solid in the league this season. As for Grimsby well at least Hurst knows how to get out of the National league

P.s apologies for the invasion I wanted to see what it was like to be a non tinpotter :bye:

Can’t speak for Barrow but we are certainties barring a miracle, I know in the table we’re only 2 behind barrow and 4 behind Southend with 2 games in hand but our performances are woeful to the point where it wouldn’t surprise me if we didn’t win another game all season.
Nailed on relegation fodder sadly.

If we lined up more attacking I'd say we would have a chance however even then I'd say Southend are still a better side than us.

I actually feel sorry for Barrow fans; managed to get back into the league, only to find they can't watch their team and may well return to non-league straight away. Having said that, I would be 'over the moon' if we stay up because they are worse than us over the course of the season (Christ, they'd be shit if that was the case).

Have you still got that Cart Horse place across the road from The Shay?

We've got a few players who we'd like to leave there if possible.

Absolutely no idea. Is that the small band of shops on the corner by the ground when you come on from the train station?

Like the rest of the population since Bojo banned us from going I'm slowly starting to forget what the Stadium even looks like

From a selfish point of view it would be nice to have another big club down here to boost everyones gate receipts next season god knows I think everyone needs it. I can imagine you have a slightly different opinion though

I seem to remember a Shire Horse Museum or something similar (can't find it in Google, so I must have dreamt it.), it was just before the ground as you drove in from the M62, well it was in my dream!

You don't need us down there to boost gates (although we do travel in numbers, especially in Yorkshire); you've got Chesterfield and Notts Co, Stockport and Hartlepool all fairly close. Please be happy with them.
