He's not the most refined of players, but with him I think it's a similar situation to Paul McCallum in that several clubs have paid him very well at this level so there is little incentive for him to leave.

He's also 29 so EFL teams won't be queueing up.
Oh fair enough, surprised one desperate club hasn't taken a shot though.

It's actually sad how much he declined in the few months he was injured for us. Was scoring for fun and looked the most natural goalscorer I've seen in a Barrow shirt and then an innocuous-looking injury against Lincoln.

His second spell last season was embarrassing - Evatt clearly was doing a favour for a mate. He must have about three goals in 100 appearances.

Is Baker-Richardson at Barnet worthy of this thread? He's on loan from us but we never saw him play.

He hasn't set the world alight but he looks a competent target man. Probably not a natural goalscorer though.

In our squad alone Muhammadu Faal, Alfie Pavey and Tomi Adeloye are all much worse.

Been getting up to speed. Looks ok to me. Nothing special but definitely a lot worse

I suspect he'll probably get released without ever having set foot in Barrow - was one of David Dunn's panic signings when he realised that the season was about to start and we were half a dozen players light.

I’ve only just come across this thread but quite funny that the opening post mentions Scott Quigley and yet now he’s seen as a great signing for Stockport.

I'm surprised Shamir Mullings hasn't reappeared somewhere yet, no matter how crap he does, his agent somehow gets National League clubs to sign him.

Rodney couldn't hit a barn door anywhere he went just with us. Now he's a league 2 player

I'm just hope he's not as bad as everyone makes out

I will be watching Mullins' future moves with a close eye, he's got Pacquette-level potential IMO. Only 26 years old too, lad has every chance.
If there’s any Mullins related news you’ll all be first to know. There’s a rumour he currently plays for a tinpot side in America.

Mike Fondop signs for Hartlepool.
Mad how he keeps finding clubs in the football league.

Hartlepool can at least look forward to him scoring 6 in their next 4 games before disappearing.

He looks even more brutal in L2 than he ever did down here.

Radio Tees described him in the defeat at Salford as 'having the first touch of a sledgehammer'. Even more damning for poor Mike, the club's ifollow summariser (Adam boyd) said Mark Cullen was the only striker worthy of the label that we have on the books

I’d like to add Ben Williamson.
Without looking I’d say he’s played all of every game & hasn’t looked like scoring.
He’s the new Steven Rigg.

We haven’t even had the luxury of the Fondop flurry of early goals.

We would have taken Adeloye out of that list a long time ago. He’s now doing well at Ayr in the Scottish Championship.

Ha, that's the worst highlights reel I've ever seen! Half of it is just highlighting his terrible first touch, and the best bits are some routine short passes.
