Supposed to be the start of Queen's tomorrow but looking at the weather forecast most of the players will be spending time inside watching the Euros or something!

Murray and Lendl to work together during the grass court season. Hopefully this leads to something longer term.

Indeed, a good move even if it is a temporary one.

Murray has still been reaching finals without him but apparently Lendl possesses something that enables Murray to beat Djokovic in slam finals.

Who did the draw for Queens?

1st Quarter
Andy Murray (GBR) vs Nicolas Mahut (FRA)
Aljaž Bedene (GBR) vs Benoît Paire (FRA)
Daniel Evans (GBR) vs Paul-Henri Mathieu (FRA)
Kyle Edmund (GBR) vs Gilles Simon (FRA)

We did better than I was expecting out of this. Murray, Bedene and Edmund all won. Evans lost but at least took Mathieu to 3 sets (& 2 tie-breaks). Mathieu then withdrew with a wrist injury which guaranteed an all-Brit ATP quarter-final (read that it's the first time since 2002 - Henman/Rusedski in Adelaide - and the first time in the open era at Queens).

Thinking about it 3-1 vs France at Queens sounds familiar...

Can see this going the distance but with our Andy eventually prevailing. Hope so anyway, as losing to someone as dull as that would be hard to take.

Zverev at 19 today beat Federer. This lad is going to be a top player shortly, always impressed when I see him.

You know you have problems when someone refers to you as the dull one whilst you're playing Andy Murray.

Can someone else set up the fantasy tennis for Wimbledon? On a train away for the weekend so will join in when I get back Sunday night.

My team is pretty atrocious. I had to rush it last night so I'm not expecting to do well here at all.

Great straight sets win for Marcus Wills over a guy ranked 700 plus places above him!

Nice easy tie next against some Federer chap..

He played bloody well today as well. I really like the variety in his game with the slices. Deserves his day for all the grinding on the lower circuits he's done.

Fuck that he won or lost, who gives a shit about that. Who was the bird with the big jubblies bouncing up and down in the box, that's what I want to know.

Wimbledon organisers will be hoping for some rain free days!

Still haven't finished Round One yet!

EDIT: Excellent win for Dan Evans against a top 30 player.

Prize is facing Federer..

The British men really havent disgraced themselves in loss this year.

L. Broady lost to Murray
Ward lost to Djockovic
Edmund would have most probably lost to Djockovic had he beaten Marrinno.
Willis of course lost to Fed and Evans plays Fed next too

Edmund losing in straight sets to Mannarino was disappointing. I'd have hoped for a set or two there really.

Not a great day for the Spainish - Muquruza and Ferrer (albeit against a decent grass court player in Mahut) biggest names out.

Wawrinka struggling against Del Potro here, 2 sets to 1 down. Good seeing the Argentine back though.
