I fancy Harrogate will fall right away now. They’ve been stuttering for a while.

Possibly, I think their chances really depend on whether they can get Diamond back from Sunderland as think they had to recall him from his loan. Good news for their manager though is regardless how much they fall off his job security is probably the best in the country.

So two debutants and a first start, Hussey and Worrall at wing back with Gibbons missing out is a big big call

Harratt is rewarded for an excellent cameo on his debut with a first start with Wilson and Hall comes in at the back in place of Martin.

Fairly happy with that and some good options such as Politic and Amoo off the bench.

Very attacking line-up today for the visit of Salford. Jamie Walker gets his debut start and Cook is on the bench after going off last week with a dead leg. Canavan returns from injury.

GK: Sam Hornby

RB: Finn Cousins-Dawson
CB: Paudie O’Connor
CB: Niall Canavan
LB: Liam Ridehalgh

CM: Elliott Watt
CM: Levi Sutton

RW: Alex Gilliead
CAM: Jamie Walker
LW: Charles Vernam

CF: Lee Angol

Quietly confident, although we’ve never beaten Salford in 5 attempts - scoring just once against them.

No fans making a big difference at Newport :)

I really like this Vale lineup. Think this convinces me more that going forward we are going to see Gibbo and Worrall alternate in and out at RWB which given he has been working through a knock makes a lot of sense with the amount of Saturday-Tuesdays we have.

One thing at the back of my mind wouldn't have minded seeing today is 3-4-3 with Politic, Wilson and Worrall as the front three. Happy to see Harratt get a start though.

Zanzala making his debut for us today. Looks a strong side, no excuses if we don't win this

Save Dennis for tired legs if it’s not going our way can’t we. Wilson won’t last the 90.

New signing straight into the squad for us.

Today also sees the return of the forgotten man Kenan Dunnwald-Turan, a man that wouldn't look out of place playing Sunday league.

Will be interested to how we go with the CB's. Lewis Cass will be the RCB no issue there but then who out of Smith and Hall play in the middle and at LCB. Because Hall is a left footer and apparently decent on the ball am thinking he should be the LCB but will see.

Has to be and Smudge is best in the centre.

Good comfortable win. New boys did well too - Pask at the back and Waite attacking midfielder.
Harrogate had possession and huffed and puffed but created feck all.
Last game BCD thank god. Couple of away games coming up at Scunthorpe and Orient then Barrow home.

Finished 4-0 harrogate with the bulk of posession but no end product we were steady and took our chances well, all in all a deserved victory.

Looks like we line up as follows:
Coleman
Downing - O'Connell - Dorsett
Dooley - Broadbent - Kelly - White
Newby - Andrews - Grant

Fingers crossed we can pinch a win...

Scraping the bottom of the barrel today. Not one defender on the bench. Grant is off somewhere new. It’s going to be a shit day.

No Francillette for Crawley today. The way he pulled up clutching his hamstring v Northampton that's no surprise. Tsaroulla back but Will Ferry missing. New signings, Seymour and Watts, on the bench. Probably see something of Watts but if Seymour comes on something bad has happened as he is a keeper.

Still never been to Carlisle but they keep having the games when I'm working! One day.

Be happy with a point today. I know Carlisle fans are doing down their chances but, although we have become more solid, we don't threaten the other end much. Queue 6-5 or something.

Lund with a red card challenge and we don't even get a freekick. Terrible decision and Lund is still a dirty, talentless prick.

In all honesty we really do not deserve to be level but will take it.

Kian Harratt is some player though. For once the highly rated / should be in our first team etc is bob on!!

This is genuinely the worst football I've ever seen us play.

Poor game, very scrappy. Never seen so many free kicks.
Think Dieng had the best chance early doors, but Scunthorpe had a good shout for a penalty and so did we at the end.
We need to up our game here

Another game in which we're competing with a team who's squad is so much better than ours.

Cannot wait for the inevitable individual error which costs us and causes us to fall apart.

Predictable stuff from Salford now. Bookings for time wasting and they're going down holding their legs/faces from the slightest touch. Looks like their 17 fans will be going home happy.

Even game at Bristol Rovers, possibly we shaded it? Good shout for a pen not given. Carver hasn't looked bad on his debut although he missed a decent chance to put us ahead.

No idea what’s gone on there. Vale fans expecting a straight red for McKirdy and the referee gives Covolan a red and penalty. Need to see that incident but that’s cost us the game.

Played very well that half to be 2-1 up - and deservedly so. Vale keeper sent off for a Kung fu kick into McKirdy.

Great chance for 3 points here.

that's an increase on their usual number of fans.... must be the draw of playing Bradford
