You can usually get away with putting your knee up to protect yourself as a keeper (although we’ve had a keeper sent off for that) but Covolan has gone with his studs there and caught him in the chest.

Opening day at Northampton albeit that was a professional foul after he decided to go walkabouts with the ball and got caught in possession. Also got sent off for violent conduct in a pre-season friendly at Chessie even if nothing was obvious showing on the replays on that.
