I see what the carlisle fans see, they’re doomed.

How we won that i’ll never know.

Phew got there in the end. Made far more difficult than it should have been after the first half but will gladly take the points. God knows what sort of forward line we will have against Newport.

Christ made that hard!

Losing Worrall and Rodney (huge blow) left us no striker on the field and only one attacker of any sort so we ended up sat way too deep.

Luckily they had absolutely no discipline and a ridiculous tackle saw them down to 9 men.

They can’t argue about that decision really!

Dug in well though and despite inviting pressure the goal which looked a huge deflection was the only real effort of note.

Big win, as said need to shithouse through until we get some attackers back so a welcome three points and have to hope Rodney and Worrall were precautions.

Not going to criticise us at all, fully deserved a point there. Just done by a sucker punch.

Shithoused that second half but what a win that is. Exeter’s first home defeat since March. They should have got something second half but who gives a fuck. Great game management and created plenty first half, fucking get in.

Horrible second half performance. We made that hard work and it didn’t need to be. We do have a tendency to sit back when leading.

However, a wins a win and we are in a great position.

Agree, heart in mouth at the end, thought he’d scored through my dodgy quality iFollow stream!

Port Vale getting every decision, and I mean every decision...
stop elbowing and kicking our players in the head and you might get something

honestly thought pittman was lucky to only get a yellow with that foul on full time. and you got away with a clear elbow on garrity with about 20 mins to go.

had a real bad feeling considering rovers had nothing to lose at 10 men. the second red killed the game thankfully.

we're absolutely fucked for strikers now.

Honestly just looking ahead to Saturday if you offered me a ugly 0-0 draw full of complete shithousery right now I’d snap your hands off.

Up the County! Fair play a perfect second half. Lewis on for Haynes at LWB at half time & thankfully Ajiboye hardly saw the ball second half. Needed those three points after no wins in the last three.

Absolutely gutting that. I was beginning to believe we were going to hold on there, and then we gave away another stupid penalty.

Join the club we haven't had any fully fit strikers for months, and barely any defenders.

Come on, your players were diving and surrounding the ref at every opportunity as he was falling for it

Imagine your bench time wasting against 9 men...oh wait it actually happened. I was really surprised in Vale I thought you would be a lot better than that.

With 11 men we would have got at least a point and maybe won, but discipline/bad defending has cost us yet again and for that we have only ourselves to blame.

It’s certain defeat for us obviously. We are the simplest team to beat, just score a goal and its game over, whether that is the 10th minute or the 89th, there’s no coming back.

Or 6th minute.

But the point remains, as soon as the first goal goes in it’s game over. We are done.

This is genuinely the most pathetic, inept toothless excuse for a football team I’ve seen. Non league is exactly where most of these players belong, and it’s where they are heading.

On a side note Ben Garrity was absolutely outstanding tonight! He was like a man possessed. Did a great Podcast about why he came us over Tranmere in the summer and seems a real top lad but he’s been a beast.

He came out after the Walsall shocker almost in tears in the interview, could see he was hurt but since he’s been a machine.

I can't agree, your lot were diving around so hilariously in the second half playing like complete victims. We were doing it against bradford when we'd have been better served trying to play the game than the ref. Two complete dives in the box, embarrassingly surround the ref when jones shoulder barged your guy and he went down like Fury had just KO'd him.

I've not really seen a more entitled fan base than bristol rovers judging from this game. I don't really know what decisions you can complain about.

I don't think we were ever in danger of losing that game to be honest. You had a free header go miles over and a deflected shot go in at 0-2 down with 10 men and soon to be 9. I don't think you'd have touched the ball second half if it wasn't for the injuries to our players

That is because everyone and I mean everyone hates Joey.

No one saw the first red but didn’t think any big ones were wrong to be honest. The free kick for the first was, the second red was straightforward he is last man in the middle of the goal 22 yards out and the penalty call their lads going down before any contact.

He probably saves them getting a bigger beating when he blows up for a free kick and doesn’t play advantage when Politic is clear in the box.

Nice to get a decent one though for us for a change… ironically so far Trevor Kettle has been the best!

Pitman was lucky not to walk for a foul after the full time whistle too! Caught it on the stream right through the back of Gibbo.

They were a side very much in Barton’s image.

Went to five across the middle in the second half. Would have been all right except we can't pass the ball forward, we don't have midfielders running forward when we get the ball and our one forward can't close the whole defence down by himself hence the Walsall defenders Wandering into our half unchallenged!

Absolute sitter missed by the guy on loan from Mansfield. He kicked the ball at the keeper who was lying on the floor!

The standard of refereeing was up to its usual laughable standard. Best summed up by our right back running into our right midfielder to win a foul... :dk:
