Volume of adverts

This seems to have gone into overdrive - can't speak for desktop but the mobile site has an ad that drops down and fills the top of the screen every time a link is clicked on. There are also large ads between every section on the forum index and in between the list of threads and between posts.

Obviously the site needs advertising but the volume has reached a point where the site is becoming pretty challenging to use.

Edit; I've also now manually blocked a handful of dating ads from appearing. If you spot anymore, please feel free to post a screenshot of them and I'll get them removed also!

I have an adblocker on the go and still keep getting the drop down one at the top of the screen. Can you at least make that one fuck off, I'll tolerate the rest?

The drop down one is the worst seeing as it blocks any notifications, literally have to scroll to the very top of the screen, disable it, then see if you can get on to the next page

But the ad covers around 2/3rds of the screen! It’s a fucking piss take.

Trying to block that one now. Will be handled as obviously it's breaking the site layout.

OK; placement has been blocked and ad load has been further reduced. It takes up to an hour for changes to show; at which point I'll review how we're looking on mobile.
