I mean it's only fair - Luke McGee literally handed you the easiest three points of the season at your place! As much as we do always beat you at home, and we're nowhere near as terrible as we were earlier in the season, we're very short up front. 1-0 either way might not be too bad a guess.
Bit harsh on McGee there Reg. He could hardly be blamed for the defence going awol for the free-header opener. While the sending-off was a rush of blood, there was an argument for a handball by the Crewe forward just before, which the officials missed. Stockport might have a case that the three points we gave them were even easier.

I'm thinking a draw.

Injuries and suspensions aplenty. I'd take a draw now. Think we may struggle tomorrow.with completely new CB pairing and no reeves in midfield.

I would like to take the time to congratulate Mansfield on their emphatic derby win tomorrow

Dear lord, what a sad little life, Mansfield. You ruined my night completely, so you could have the points. But I hope now you spend it on some lessons in grace and decorum, because you have all the grace of a reversing dump truck without any tyres on

You’re right, i recall notts being harmless gracious angels with the referring ineptness you received at crewe.

Oh yeah….

Yes Adam but that was the small sections of our impressive following that day not our boss at the time.

Tbh I can't recall Williams post match interview but I know he didn't , nor any of his coaching team, receive an FA charge as a result of referring ineptness.

In fact not sure Strange Luke ever received a touchline ban whilst at Notts, he's far too nice and respectful.

Stay classy Nigel.

Again that's fans not the manager/head coach but good try.

Plus the fans danced and chanted a footballers name who had previously been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, not murder. Get it right Richard, that's quite important on such a serious non-footballing matter.

You definitely want to be on the Yellow, or is it Amber side today for those 3 points, but historically in football terms that's a bad choice :bg:

I've bet on a repeat 4-1 scoreline for those super stags or a relatively dull but comfortable 2-0 to the home side.

Both small bets.

Big bet is on BTTS even with L2's best defender likely to play.

I've got Mansfield down to do a job on Notts, actually. Can see a dogged, high energy chips are down display from them.

Haven't won since October. 6/39 points. How much worse can we get?
As the song ought to go, Things Can Only Get Worse…

FGR are by no means relegated yet and have appointed an experienced manager, though no immediate new boss bounce, and re-signed a proven striker who’s played for you before. All I’m saying is that it’s by no means a given that things will get better, all fans know that footy is capable of kicking you in the nuts when you’re least expecting it!

Big brother is something Mansfield have never been :fl: . You going to need a 4th stand and bigger crowds for that time ever be the case.

Naturally hoping for no serious trouble in the sold out away section whatever the result.

Train to Accy from Leeds is fun. Foolham, QPR and Gy fans all packed in. Which ones have the plastic bags full of cheap lager…?

Blimey, what a change a transfer window makes. Two guys, Shade and McCeachran, who 2/3 weeks ago were certain starters have not even managed the bench. Likewise Pharrell Johnson who played very well as a half time sun last week. Two of the three are definitely here. Strongest bench we’ve had all season. COYR

McKirdy, McGurk and Elbazoudi(?) in the bench. Not much in the way of midfield replacements though.

3-1 defeat, Mansfield go 2-0 up early, Notts pull one back around the hour mark with Mansfield scoring a third about 5 minutes later.

Clough was literally told by his players it was a bad one so whatever was going off had nothing to do with that.
I sit near the dug out and he was shouting at the fourth official to get him moved. The players might have told him it was a bad one but he clearly paid no attention.

Threatening referees outside their dressing room and an assistant manager trying to cause fights with fans. They certainly are an unscrupulous bunch no wonder the FA is starting to catch wind of it!

Unchanged for Rovers from Grimsby. Harvey Saunders fit enough for bench duty, though a surprise he replaces the other forward, Dennis, when we’re at home.
Seemed to be quite a police presence at Rock Ferry station. While there was some issue at the reverse fixture, no history of difficulties at this game so surprised.
