no he sounds like you did three weeks ago because you support Exeter....You said you was at Burnden park in 92
So i guess you have watched Exeter stagnate for the past 40 years.........you have that mind set.
You are not alone from the start of the season all i have heard from Exeter fans on here is yes we will reach Wembley then we will lose as per usual..............I have heard it from FGR and now Carlisle fans.
Carver is the only one who openly boasts his team will win the league. Me apart

You and others here like to bring those who are confident down to your level as said in your comment above

Enjoy you mediocrity and every five years you will be able to laugh at a football team who fall to your level before they once again leave you as they rise up the leagues
We haven't stagnated for 40 years, we have been relegated three times, promoted twice, went into administration after being taken over by a crook, spent five years in non league, were taken over by the fans etc.
We will never be in the Premier Lesgye but that doesn't mean we have a lack of ambition.
I know a lot about our history, it's important but not as dramatic as yours. I dont really care.

no you have stagnated......you say you played us in the early 90s that would be in the old division 3
you say you have been promoted, relegated etc........You have been no higher than you were in 1990. you spent 5 seasons in the league below where you are now. That is stagnation it applies to your 100 plus year history
How is ours Dramatic????????
We went into administration for less than 6 months....we got bought out

Exeter are a small club in a largely rural area of the country that does not have any great football tradition. For a club of their size and history, a sustainable existence in Leagues One and Two, with the occasional promotion thrown in, is success.

You support a club in a football heartland that were founder members of the Football League and has spent much of its history in the top two divisions. The very presence of your club at this level tells a story of abject failure.

How ironic that you constantly patronise and demean clubs in this division that are operating succesfully at their natural level, when the only true failures in this division are Bolton Wanderers.

quite the opposite i am not patronising anyone.....I just cannot get over a mindset that a team currently two points clear of us and 4 yes 4 games in hand will not get promoted or even in the play offs
[Carlisle]
As per normal i was put right by another team supporter that Bolton are a car crash, shit bla, bla, blah team

Then it dont take long for one of the Tranmere lot to give me a lecture on the history of football

I will say it again to teams like Exeter,Carlisle,FGR.......get out of the negative mindset you may get promoted enjoy the ride

Excellent response. We all follow OUR clubs with a passion no matter what our level. Never a thought of sitting on a sofa proclaiming to be an avid Man U supporter. Every now and then we surprise someone and when that happens, it is all the more special.

Looking at the league table after this weekends set of results, I can’t see Cambridge or FGR dropping out of the top 3. The remaining promotion and play off places could realistically go to any team in the current top 13. Ever improving Bradford and Bolton must really be fancying their chances now.
With many clubs facing 2 fixtures a week I think 75-80 points will be enough to go up automatically.

It is not great seeing a 6/7 point gap open up between us and the top two, but I think it is a bit premature to call Cambridge and FGR as promoted. A lot can happen in eighteen games.

I certainly hope so anyway, or it will be a complete freeforall with about ten clubs fighting for third place. I don't fancy the play offs this time round.

I think Forest Green will make it from here. Although we’ve played more games than anyone I’m obviously pleased to have points on the board even though we’d hypothetically fall out of the top three if games in hand are won. But it’s far too early to say we’ll be top three though I’d be gutted to fall away from here.

We won’t see games in hand completed until end of April and by then it could be decided.

If we win on Tuesday it would be a huge for our automatic aspirations. The pack can keep picking up points but our points return since Jan is promotion form and if we can continue that it doesn’t matter so much what others do as games in hand are against team in and around the chasing pack.

True!

I don’t like the play offs anytime around.

FGR will win the league, Cambridge and Bolton will be in top 3 then anyone down to 14th will make the play offs, far to open to make a prediction on them.

Don't cry because I didn't mention Tranmere, it's ok, its only an opinion, you don't have to like it.
Fail to see where you get Bolton from. If you take away wins against teams from the bottom third when they have played them they have only won 4 games. To get promoted you have to beat teams from the top end of the table.

You abuse everybody who disagrees with you. Facts speak for themselves. If you cannot beat the teams at the top and mostly beat teams at the bottom end you will not finish above mid table. You have mostly games against top half teams to come. You claim to have the best squad in the division but also say that apart from the 1st XI there isnt much strength in depth. If you cannot even compose a consistent sentence then i suggest you ask somebody to do it for you. Failing that get a spellchecker. You laughable cretin.

32 words is not a measured opinion. It is a remark.

I'm not bothered about who Gladders thinks will go up, his thoughts on the matter carry no more weight than mine or anyone's. However, would be interested why he thinks notlob will make the automatics, as it's a bit leftfield with the current league placings.

I'm by no means certain the blue Rovers will make the automatics, so not phased that others have the same view on that.

Maybe he has seen that since Evatt binned Both Billy the fish and the back 5 system in November Bolton have the best form in the league from that period to now
Or perhaps in the January transfer window he has seen the permanent signings of players from the championship and lge 1 to go with very good loan signings for this division
Perhaps the 3 wins and a draw from the 4 games played since the end of the window

So if you look close enough the clues are there

Not sure if you read The Paddock forum but it is very similar to The Baldy and Ptay11 scenario with Gladders and Masi51. Two posters who agree on everything even down to how they write and spell. Makes me wonder.

Against teams in the bottom 8. Start winning against sides at the top and you can do the Billy Big Bollocks stuff. Thats to come after your next two games against more bottom 8 clubs.

Not sure about other clubs but Tranmere Rovers have played less league games than Bolton since the end of november and got more points. You really are deluded.

They are 6 points behind third, and on good form since their Jan signings, no reason for them not to carry that on.

I think we will come up just short to teams like Carlisle who have 4 games in hand
I think we certainly can reach the play offs.
Tuesday we have Scunthorpe who are in great form We are winning games we would have lost earlier in the season.

The schedule this season is horrendous and some teams will get three four injuries and quickly fall away
We will be in good shape if we make the play offs
