Well quickly onto the next game after a good point at MK.

The first of 3 home games in a row, which we could really do with winning to pile the pressure on the other teams. If vale play like they did at their place we should win, but if they play the park the bus tactics we could struggle to break them down.. But we really should be winning this.

Pretty gutted that Daniel won't be playing, as he would of got a massive "thank you" from us. As for us, I think we will see a bit of player rotation this month, with Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday for the next few weeks. Wouldn't be surprised to see both wingbacks changed, with possibly Agard and Saville being brought in too.

The first league match I miss this season, midweek away games are always a problem. We usually get battered here and I doubt Tuesday will be any exception. Page seems to be more concerned with trying to keep clean sheets than winning games so we will probably be ultra defensive for this one. Anything under 4-0 to city will probably be seen as a success.

A certain win against a team that are always awful at AG and even worse against us at Vale Park this season. 2-0.

Agree that this is a game for some of the second string like Tavernier, Cunningham and Saville.

Lost 5-0 to these when they were shit so not expecting anything. Page losing the plot and personally I'd play the reserves and focus on saving ourselves for Walsall instead.

After going 1 up top against five poor sides no doubt he will go all out attack knowing Page. Hopefully Campion gets a start after finally getting his chance and taking it with aplomb.

Only slight hope of respectability is that we went to Swindon and MK (with ten men) and only lost by the odd goal.

Any performance like the one at Vale Park where we gave away three comical goals and rightly saw Adams reign end will hopefully see Page go but I doubt Smurf will.

3 points for City - if truth be told, I think you guys will start to pull away now.

Potential pivotal point of the season now. A well won point at MK, followed by three successive home games. Three wins (not a prediction) would really put us in a strong position. Swindon have a couple of tough games during this time as well.

With everyone back fit again, we can start to rotate as mentioned by TTOCS, I would expect Wilbs and Agard to start this one and give JET and Smithy a rest as they covered a lot of ground yesterday. Rest Wade Elliott for Saville and one, if not both wing backs. He might even put Pack in for Korey (who I thought was superb yesterday) to keep them all fresh for the Blades game. It may sound like we're taking Vale lightly but it's still a bloody strong side.
Unfortunately, I have to miss the Colin Daniel appreciation game as my Mrs is having an operation on Tuesday and I am 'in charge' at home. God help my kids! ;)

Hopefully he will still be there though? What an anti climax if he isn't!
If he has any idea (I suspect he does) how highly he's thought of down here, I'm sure he will be there somewhere... Hopefully he gets bought into the pitch at half time to receive his standing ovation :woo:

Really not that bothered about the whole Colin Daniel thing - match far more important.

It is great that we could play Wilbraham and Agard as fresh players with Smith/Jet waiting to come on. As others have said, could be a chance to play Tavernier, Saville, Cunningham, Pack etc.

Should be a win - maybe 2-0.

Pointless game.

Put it this way I'm not taking a half day and driving down. Did it for the Rovers games but screw that for this the way we are playing. First sub 100 following possibly for years.

I heard a rumour about a 21 year old Prem squad striker coming in yesterday but couldn't get a name. Anyone heard anything? It could be to replace Smithy.

Three points here and with hard games for Swindon and MK we could see a gap forming. With three home games we've got to be looking at 7 points minimum.

Every time it's just presumed we'll win - we usually don't.

Having said that - I think we narrowly win, 1/2-0.

If you do score then you will be the first team in 2015 in the league to do so. Think we are up to 400 mins or something now.

Probably means we will concede three or summit.

After years of following the City I've come to never expect the expected, many a time in the past we've been on a good run only to slip up when on form, an early goal would be nice to settle any nerves.

Everything here is pointing towards a home win.
But this is Bristol City we're talking about here...
