Is David Amoo still a steaming pile of dogshit, even at League Two level?

Fairly. He's been injured the last few weeks but he has been quite poor overall this season. Looks afraid to take his man on, and he is weak defensively.

9 games out of 10 he is. You get the odd performance where a left back shits himself and Amoo has a field day, but they are few and far between. I'll be very surprised if he's not released next week.

He was better in League 1 than he was in League 2... he'll probably make a career for himself in the lower leagues just because he's done alright for us and he's quick. Think he'd be a good League 2 player if he was in a winning team so we'll hopefully see next season if he's shite or not.

Some players just can't do anything about it if the team are struggling, and you need someone instead who'll drag the team out of the mire. But there's probably players exactly the same in teams in the top half of this table that have done well because their teams are doing well.

He got 10 goals or something from the wing last season so there must be something there. 3-5-2 doesn't suit him at all though so I wouldn't be surpised if Curle didn't fancy renewing his contract, and I also wouldn't be surprised if he went and found himself a better League 2 club than us.

Haha, Ronnie Moore's hilarious
It was a long Saturday night, an enjoyable one and certainly a long Sunday and I just about recovered Monday.

I’d promised I wouldn’t have another drink and then at 5.30pm I thought ‘sod it’.

I love a manager with good banter, too many of them nowadays are overly prepped and just trot out the same old generic comments time after time. This has to be one of my favourite Curle moments
.

Just that moment at about 47 seconds in where you can hear him laughing really loud, that's enough for him to have my full backing next season. I love a good sense of humour in a manager and Curle would probably be really funny if he was having a good season and nobody cared too much what he said in interviews.

Can you imagine the stress both sets of fans could have been under today?

Whatever the result, we've got to be thankful that there's absolutely nothing riding on today.

Are you going to the game today HG?

Should be a decent attendance, possibly the biggest of the season for us.

Seem to remember him saying he wouldn't be here, when we were discussing forfeits for him.
Yeah, I was just wondering if he'd maybe changed his plans since we weren't going to be relegated!

I am going. I didn't change the plans: the wedding I was due to attend is off.

Bad news for Hartlepool United FC, the team bus has broken down on the A66.

When you read this Mr Hello , you will now realise why I was ribbing you when you kept saying you would finish bottom, believe it or not there are 2 worse sides than Pools...hopefully we'll give you a decent game next season
