We’ve continued our recent tradition of gifting relegation-haunted sides a point after dominating until they get one back/equalise. You are welcome, peasants.

6 to go.

An abysmal performance against 10 men.

Results going against us as well. I can’t quite believe how positive BBC Cumbria are being over that result. It’s an awful result in my opinion.

Northampton and Stockport coming up next which we’ll be lucky to get a point from.
I expect we’ll now miss out on top 7 which will be a real shame after the season we’ve had.

Excellent from us today. Sutton comfortably the worst side to come here all season and in all honesty we should've put 6 or 7 past them even if we did get lucky with the pen.
Personally think it was our performance over them being terrible, best we’ve played all season by far. Would love 6 more performances like that and we’d be up.

1-1 draw with Hartlepool, fair result on the overall balance of play although both sides will be wondering how they didn't end up walking away with all the points.

First half we had control of the game without creating that much. Reid went close early doors before Rose put us in front. Gilbey had a great chance to double the lead, he beat Hartlepool's high line, tried lobbing the on-rushing goalkeeper about 30/40 yards from goal, referee judged it as no handball, difficult to tell.

Second half started in the worst possible way, some clown show defending in the build up to Featherstone's strike. After that Hartlepool took control for 20-25 minutes, one golden chance falling to Murray who blazed over from about 5 yards when it looked easier to score. Last 10-15 the game just opened up and was pretty entertaining if not good for the ticker, both sides had opportunities to win it with Wildin and Finney guilty of being wasteful before Horgan's last second effort was turned off the line.

Disappointing afternoon with the other results largely going against us, but grateful not to have lost and equally pissed off not to have won.

and the late Wimbledon capitulation makes a playoff berth far from certain.

Looks like that match was a case of 'play however many minutes of injury time until Salford have won' ffs, they even had a penalty missed in the 90th minute.

For how bad we were first half we were absolutely brilliant in the second. Absolute dominance Doncaster went into their shell and they had that coming. Absolute limbs when the goals went in, buzzing my tits off. :bg:

I think anyone would have put four or five past Crewe this afternoon, they were appalling - if ever a team was on the beach, it was them.

They are 9 points behind us. Unless they win every game i’d say it’s fairly unlikely they’ll overhaul us in 5 games.

What a crazy end to the game, both could've won it with golden chances, in truth neither team deserved to lose that, fair point on the balance of play over 90 (although we were dire in the first half)

Murray was right in lifting his chance as there were bodies and a keeper sprawled in front of him, Finney's miss was the worse of the two, looked like he tried to take a touch 6 yards out, just hit the fucker.

Stevenage looked a good team I thought, yeah you know what you're getting with Fat Arse in charge, bench scream bloody murder for everything but they play some good footy.

I've thought we were toast for a while. That horror show confirms it.

If we started a paint pot game with that back line I would have been worried.

Our attack...what attack? Even the Barrow commentators were feeling sorry for Chukwuemeka, saying he clearly isn't good enough.

That midfield was beyond crap. If Jack Roles is a professional footballer I'm Postman Pat!...at least I'd have a cat to kick. Tom Fellows , on loan from WBA, has stopped trying. Khaleel is a young kid trying to make it but Powell is a seasoned pro who abdicated any responsibility .

Lots of these players will be looking for new clubs come the summer. Steer clear!

What this team are doing is unbelievable. 2 defeats in 15 with the barest of bare squads.

Another injury today and ended up with our centre mid who went off injured on Friday seeing the game out at centre half.

Thought we played well today against the Gills. Should have had it wrapped up by half time and a freak goal that we didn’t deal with at all well levelled it up for the Gills. From there we huffed and puffed and a bit of magic from Hondemarck secured the 3 points.

Gills looked a bit one dimensional, lumping it to their massive number 28 regularly to knock down. Fantastic support too.

Crawley the worst team we have faced this season, I think. Didn’t get out of second gear and could conceivably scored more.

Was number 44 the TikTok competition winner? Poor lad looked like he’d never worn boots before.

The good news for Hartlepool is Crawley have got absolutely zero fight in them. You’re safe.

Echo the other City fans. Disappointed not to score another three or four and also disappointed losing a clean sheet to Sutton's only attempt at goal. Really good from us today. Happy for Chapman to net and also happy for Cook after last week and him hitting the post twice today.

As good as we was in the first half, where we again completely outplayed Harrogate for the whole half and went in with a well deserved lead, the second half we became too casual for a ten minute spell combined with one or two of our younger players making some bad decisions, got punished and Harrogate got a deserved draw for their second half efforts.

The second half we still carried a threat and in a few moments I thought we could've done better, Harrogate caused us problems on the break. Both sides by the end were running on empty a bit I thought.

The bigger picture is if you'd offered me 4 points at Easter, I'd have taken them. I just wish we wasn't so complacent when we get a comfortable lead.

As bad as we were we certainly had more than 1 attempt at goal! The penalty and 2 just wide first half from outside the box for a start. Ajiboye from the edge of box last 10. In fact more shots than we’ve had in the last month put together haha. Obviously Bradford could have easily had 6 or 7 on another day, some awful finishing. We are shot. Full backs were ripped apart. Kizzi seemed a game or 2 too far, he’s played just about every league minute and it showed - he’s usually rock solid. Hart looked defensively worryingly poor the other side. Thought he was shaping up to be a reasonable signing when he eventually got fit but he was badly exposed today (and has shown glimpses of weakness previously).

I should have said attempt on target? Certainly wasn't on a wind up or anything.

RE the fullbacks - Scott Banks is excellent and Chapman had his best game of the season for us today. Do you think that's the playoffs over for you, or reckon you could still sneak in?

You’d be suicidal if you supported us. There is absolutely zero chance we finish above you so it’s up to Barrow to prove you right

All down to Hurst’s game management…the Brighton plan finally worked…just needed Orsi to finish the game instead of start it.

Now you are on a wind up! :) Play offs were over for me after Grimsby, though not confirmed I suppose until Stockport Friday. We’ve barely scored since the first week of March.

You are 5 points behind us, have a game in hand and have some really favourable fixtures. Even looking at your game with Orient, they could well already be champions by then.

There absolutely is a good chance you finish above us.

Can i nominate Newport? They had a good spell in the second half, after they made a sub, but aside from that didn't turn up at all.

Well done County for the clinical finishing, but it really helps when the visitors roll over like that.

Frustrating afternoon at Sixfields. Pretty rubbish first half, Northampton scoring after we failed to deal with a punt into the box. We then equalised in the second after the Cobblers did exactly the same and failed to deal with a punt into the box, but I will say it was excellently taken from first Hawkins to drive it across, and O'Brien to find the space to get on the end of a fizzing delivery.

Aside from the goals the keepers at either end weren't really troubled too much (Morris made one good save first half, but that was it) until Northampton's centre mid got bored of passing sideways and smacked one in from 25 yards. Should've levelled it up again at the end, but Nicholls couldn't quite get over the top of a headed chance from 6 yards and put it wide.

All told there wasn't much in the game at all, so it's just annoying to come out on the wrong end at Sixfields yet again.
