FT 1-1. Still unbeaten at home, but that result just isn't good enough.

Mangan on at half time, different team second half and but for two goal line clearances could have been 5-1, Aldershot didn't get a kick second half. Why can't we do that for 90 mins?

Sounds like we got away with that
You got away with murder, near-literally. Nonetheless, our failure to put away a relegation contender at home is inexcusable. Moyses can fuck off tonight, he left it too late to change things.

Real game of two halves.

We were utterly woeful in the first half. We made Aldershot look like world beaters. They were more than good value for their lead, and were it not for a calamitous defensive error on the stroke of half time, they'd have deservedly gone in ahead.

Second half was another story. Aldershot disappeared for 45 minutes, and Tranmere showed glimpses of what it will be like when the team finally clicks. It was worlds apart, and the crowd woke up as a result. Two deserved goals later and the game was safe.

Another shout for the terrible officiating. Duped by every Aldershot player who collapsed in a heap on the slightest contact, and didn't take control when the tackles got a bit rougher. We were by no means angels with a fair bit of timewasting towards the end, but I'm glad their cheating didn't pay dividends.

Fair play to their fans though. Plenty of singing despite the small numbers, hope you all have a safe journey back south.

As dire as we were first half, we were a completely different team with Mangan on the pitch for the second half, and Aldershot didn't have a sniff. Deserved win in the end, but would be a nice change for us to perform for a whole game instead of individual halves.

Sounds like we've battered Grimsby tonight but as usual couldn't score. Would have probably been happy with a point before the game but disappointed now. Atleast we're improving against the better sides, Grimsby set out for a point those final 15 minutes.

Wasn't all us according to the BBC texts.
Just following twitter and had chance after chance for us in the first half and the odd one for them. Second half sounded a bit rubbish to be honest.

Not used to not being there, can't do these long down south trips in midweek.

Can't remember the last time I saw such a difference in performances between two halves. First half we were absolutely dreadful, the worst I've seen us play all season. Second half, once Mangan came on, it was like watching a completely different side and we were unlucky not to get four or five. Dawson man of the match for me, been missing a player who can take on his man. Hopefully see more of the second half team than the first in the future.

Sounds as if Mangan and Norwood have adecent partenrship building, doesnt help when Brabin insists on playing Jackson or Blissett up top though. Big game on saturday against Cheltenham now, beat them and were back on track.

For 60 minutes I thought we gave Tranmere a good game. The goal on half time was a complete gift.

Last 30 minutes we ran out of steam which to be fair me and Slaphead both predicted would happen before the game. Dissapointing but given the circumstances completely understandable.

Shame our record at Cheltenham's abysmal... went last year, not making the same mistake this time! And Blissett can go back to the Gas, I'd much rather have Trialist H on the bench instead of him. Don't know what's happened to Ridehalgh, but Maynard did a decent enough job at right back when I didn't expect him to.

And we should be happy with a point a clean sheet, but we are ninth, ten points behind the leaders, just behind Bromley and with an identical record to Dover other than GD. Our record against the teams in the bottom 9 is P5 W1 D2 L2, there's ten points. We can't afford to be happy with too many 0-0s even away to top six teams...

and you're only 1 point above Barrow and 8 of our 12 games have been against teams in the top 13 including Grimsby, Forest Gump, Braintree and Cheltenham away

Blissett won't be playing for us again, confirmed.

Good quality game, we played our usual stuff but the lack of a class striker like Moult cost us although we didn't create that many clear cut chances. Vose was MOTM and was the threat each time he got it and wasn't fouled, which was rare. Grimsby were what they have been for years away from home, very solid in defence and with McKeown in top form but this time they offered nothing in counter attacks at all. Their superstar striker didn't do anything despite his pre-match boasts and Fyfield had him sussed early on. They actually looked more promising when changing to a 4-5-1 formation where they could counter us and looked the most threatening when switching to that. Had they switched it sooner they might have nicked one.

I think both sides will be fairly happy with a point, we just lacked the finishing touch but to be fair Grimsby didn't make any mistakes for us to profit from.

They set out for a point the entire game and if anyone settled for a point with about 10 to go it was us. The game just drifted away as both teams were happy enough with a draw.

Finished 2-2 with Cheltenham. Frustratingly they scored with their first chance of the game, which was right on half time, up to that point Rovers had been well on top but just couldn't find the net. Second half was far more even as a contest, we scored a really good equaliser with a header from a free kick, they edged ahead again but we found an equaliser. A really good derby game, nice and competitive and a decent atmosphere too, they will probably be gutted that they let the lead slip twice but at the end only one team was pushing for the win. Best bit was trading the "we are top of the league" song, depending on the score at the time, our fans were still singing it while the visitors were boarding their coaches home...which was all we wanted before a ball was kicked.
