perhaps it's the lack off meat in his diet at FGR that's affected his reasoning and brain power...

When our players are booked for the exact same fouls and chelt are not it's pretty annoying...

Well I've seen 6 times all at home and the away team has had the better if the decisions in majority of the games I've been to have against us especially last night. We very rarely get a 'homer'

I'd suggest it's more to do with the fact that your players fell over everytime a Cheltenham player went near them. Then, when the exact same thing happens in your box the ref fails to give a pen (Wright did go over dramatically). The absolute biggest joke was at the end when your number 10 (Kelly?) jumped in front of Amari Morgan-Smith, threw himself to the floor and the ref gave a free-kick.

A bigger homer I haven't seen in a long, long time.

As for the game, all FGR first half, but only real attempt on target forcing a save from Phillips and we then stole the lead on half-time. Second-half was an entertaining game, FGR pulled it back, we went back ahead with a fantastic goal from Pell and then we didn't close shop. Unfortunately, I think Parslow is a bit culpable for their equaliser, but as that's the first header he's lost all season who am I to begrudge him one error.

A decent game, a point I'd have definitely taken before the game, but you can't help but be disappointed when taking the lead twice.

As for FGR's ticketing policy, it is a travesty that we were only given 42 seats and then they're made to sit in a block that easily held more than 150. I saw a number of elderly people who were hugging the bar at the front to keep up and it didn't occur to any of the stewards to ask them if they wished to move. This indirectly led to one elderly lady being hurt when we scored our second. Luckily she was only shaken, but it could have been much worse.

If they go up, I can't wait to see them deal with the likes of Portsmouth.

We've got a safety restriction on the whole ground, so can only use 75% of capacity in every stand. So that stand was sold out. They taken some of the seats in the CTFC section and allocated them to home fans in other blocks, which is why your section at the end of the stand was pretty empty.

But your right, they need to sort out this safety certificate thing with the council .. it's only been like that for about 5-6 years!!! :ffs:

Well if we can play like that, totally misfiring first half but upped the pace 2nd half I'll settle for that this season.
With a complete overhaul we're happy with our season so far and must be doing something right.
Disappointed but showed class with the way we took our goals and defended. Have to agree how FGR went over as if poleaxed. Really think both sides will maintain their position up the table. Clubs got a better feel now than the last three years put together. To go to the league leaders and take a point keeps us ticking over. Cracking atmosphere from Robins fans and wish the acoustics in our home end was as good as FGR's.

Terrible first half for Rovers, some quality football from us in the second. Though had Aldershot weathered the opening second half barrage and Browne taken his chance, shortly before the Rovers 2nd, who knows what might have happened. Thought the Shots were a well-organised side, one of the better ones seen at Prenton Park this season and manager Barry Smith made some sensible remarks in his post match interview.
