I can't be bothered to look for it right now, but there was one club, might have even been dortmund, where there was a cock up, and the toasters were making Barca toast... (was just FCB rather than the full badge, which would have been mightily impressive

Clearly a screw up at the factory (likely in china) which makes them all. Still funny though.

That would have been far funnier if it had been a Real Madrid toaster...possibly the same factory that declared bankruptcy after overdoing it on half and half scarves for an Old Firm derby!

This thread is better than brilliant, the Welling fans forming the word "C*nt" just made me spit my dinner all over my laptop.

Feeling the need to talk about the AFCON and why Premier League teams are so reluctant to send their players over there. What does that have to do with the Conference?

I've also seen plenty of spats with supporters of Conference teams and whoever runs the account before. Wholly unprofessional.

The Conference twitter is an absolute joke. The bloke that runs it seems to live for arguments with supporters. How he's never been sacked I'll never know.

Someone questioned them and they're telling him to unfollow. Bizarre behaviour. I know the chaps who run the twitter account of a Step 5 club and they wouldn't react like this - (even though it wouldn't surprise me if they sometimes wanted to).

It's brilliant isn't it? Braintree vs Alfreton for Valentines Day.

I once tried to ask a girl out by taking her to see Exeter City play a Fourth Division fixture at St. James Park. It didn't work.

She was called Tiffany and gave the best explanation of the offside law that I've ever witnessed.

Happy days.

Our FA Trophy replay against Dartford has been moved to the Butcher's Arms, Droylsden for this Saturday.

We've been pushed into a corner with this one but still.

I took a girl out on a first date to West Ham v Liverpool back in 2000, drew 1-1 (Ruddock free kick iirc), then took her back to my foul-mouthed east end nan's house afterwards for a meals-on-wheels. Actually ended up married to her, so was a success.

Although the other thing I remember from the game was seeing Liverpool's new left back and thinking he looked pretty promising.... was Djimi Traore.

Yep, but that's not all. I don't think the words 'valentine' and 'football' should be in the same sentence.

Unless you treat your doesn't-like-football GF to a Valentines night at the West Ham hotel, in a converted executive box. Couldn't even sit out on the seats to see the pitch.

My mate's a Chester fan, took his girlfriend along to see them beat Prescot Cables at Valerie Park. She dumped him straight after.

I took my girlfriend to Chester away last year with the promise of a stay over and the zoo for Valentines Day. We lost in injury time and if pissed it down all day the next day :(

I've taken every one of my girlfriends through the past to watch Macc, and before the current one we'd never won any of those games. However, the current one has now reluctantly come to Eastleigh, Alfreton and Lincoln at home this year (won 2-0, 2-0 and 3-0). Needless to say I'm making sure she's available for several dates in May...
