2 nil, solid win down at Eastleigh. Sounded a fairly even game, we just create a lot of chances. The Eastleigh keeper made 3 or 4 fantastic saves so it could have been a lot worse for them.

Can't wait till this team have gelled.

Won 1-0 sounded like we dominated the game but couldn't finish our chances to win more comfortably.

Sounded like Efete, Sousa and Mcatee had good games.

Not a full bench, lost a lead at home, three yellow cards and a red.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

Well that was annoying, but every team will have one of those this season. Absolute bombardment for 70 minutes.

Got to hand it to Torquay really, dealt with the circumstances and nicked a point through a combination of good defending, blind luck and some weapons grade timewasting. They’ll be fine once they’ve gelled, got strength at centre back and upfront, legs in midfield and some pace/trickery out wide, decent mix.

That's 2 games in we've not really come out of 1st gear. I'll need to see evidence we have more gears when put up against a good side! But so far so good

Quigley’s cheesestrings have gone already.

Heaps more pressure on the under fire Rusk.

Paul Hurst 1-0 to start things off, never in doubt.
Dominated the first half, panicked for 5 minutes in the second half but scored a decent goal. We do however still require a striker who can scores goals.

Sounds like there are going to be some big attendances in the National league this season. Let's put League 2 to shame!

6,900+ at Meadow Lane today, including a decent 360 from Torquay.

But as Jacob says, a Gary Johnson masterclass in shit housing and parking the bus. Dominated the 2nd half but needed to be a bit more clinical around their box.

Good result for Wrexham that, Monday should be interesting!

I don’t think the red card did us any favours. They were causing us some trouble with the press when they had eleven men, but we got in behind it a few times and had by far the better chances. After that it was just try and find a way past ten men stood in the six yard box for most of it.

Our only fault mind for conceding a stupid, vintage Vanarama goal from an aimless punt forward.

On the board. Good away win that. We can never seem to win a game comfortably though.

2 tough away matches played and we have gained 4 points.
The team will take a little while to gell but promising signs with both Mullin and Hyde scoring already and a clean sheet today. Another tough match Monday against NC who played us off the pitch last season.
Seems like there will be more transfer news on Tuesday possibly another 1 or 2 to come in.
Daggers and Chesterfield off to flyers be tough to catch

Comfortable win against a toothless and defensively poor Dover side. 10 men behind the ball in the second half kept the scoreline down, we should have won that by more.

I don't think Dover have enough quality to stay up even without a points deduction.

Frustrating game that and our lack of firepower needs to be addressed ASAP. We look really solid at the back and the midfield duo of Cooper and Dyer were superb today.

George Wickens will want that first goal back, an absolute shocker to concede.

Good win indeed. I can see us winning/losing a lot of games with that sort of scoreline. We look decent going forwards but very dodgy at the back.

Bit rich coming from a fan of team that are being bankrolled as one big marketing joke for alcohol / a couple of media whores and sponsored by a company that spys for the Chinese government and helps it keep up its record of human rights abuses.

But herp derp, Chesterfield furloughed 3 players I'm so funny herpy de derpy.

I’ve spent years on here saying how rubbish we are.

For once it’s nice to say that we look very good. Going to stick my neck out and say based on the first 2 games, we will be challenging for the title. Firmly inserting us into the mix with the big, big spenders.

Shall I explain the concept of a joke to you?

Whats wrong with people from Chesterfield?
