Didn’t go last night but radio said a good amount went, they only had 1 stand open due to weather.
York are a massive mess,Askey come in cracked the whip and players downed tools.wants to move a load on and told them they aren’t wanted,
Last night played first half with 10 men behind ball and lumped in to Beck.
We have a good team when fit but he has just upset everyone.
Shit appointment and going to nosedive.

Do you think you'll miss Beck when he returns to Harrogate in January? Hasn't really set the world alight (3 goals/14 games) considering the hefty wage he's no doubt collecting.

I thought he was okay he had a good spell at Darlington lumping the long balls up to him.

It was indeed Toons and also Mags, they advertised it on their Twitter before the game to try and get them to fill the ground.
Funny thing was we played them again 4th game of the following season, they had won their opening 3 games and neither Newcastle or Sunderland were at home that day and so their Twitter before the game read: “Newcastle and Sunderland fans come and watch us beat Grimsby for £10.”

Did you go the game yesterday mate?

nope, was lumped with my 3 year old last week and the weather was not one to take him there in.

cannot say on performance but deserve to lose on the simple fact that to leak one goal right from kick off happens, to do that from both halves is unforgivable.

but it’s gone to pot since change of manager, his style doesn’t suit players he either A goes back to the hung ho ways or B accepts we will drop down league and works on team for next year.

although if I did defend him we hit an awful tough run of games when he took over and a lot of our attack players got injured but it is clear he rather plays in the tight counter style……..we didn’t play that all season.

I’ll make cup game next week I think we will win that one as I find more defensive managers usually open up more in cup games so it should help us.

Well that's another team's season we've kick-started. Spennymoor ~~1 point from the last 21 and the've thumped us 4-2 after we've drawn level from 2-0 down. I've supported Chester FC since 1960 and I can't think of a worse team in that periiod that the current useless clowns. We need a complete clear out.

11 unbeaten, 10 wins, stopping Bostons home unbeaten run, first time we've won 5 league games in a row since 2013. Everything is going right for us at the moment.

Bring on Curzon!

Have to say Kidderminster/Gateshead look the best two sides in the divison at the moment. Dont see AFC Fylde winning the league.

There`s a little part-time side in Northants involved - top of the table, game in hand, won at Kiddie comfortably in October, as well as on your turf early season. Huge game at Gateshead next Saturday, let`s see how things look after that....

Alfreton Town 1-1 Gloucester City

Once again Alfreton are left to rue missed chances. Thought Gloucester look decent and Lee Mansell has them well drilled and they will be fine.

The less said about the ref Claudio Gavinucci the better. Absolutely diabolical. Complete clown. Comes to something when both opposition managers completely agree that he was out of his depth.

Dissapointed yes but compared to recent seasons we are a good side. Competitve in all games and hard to beat.
Hopeful and to be honest expectant of victory next week as I would like to see us protize the tophy and go on a bit of a run.

I like Beck don’t think he has had the service, looked good today and Askey seems to like him.
Today is the first sign of Askey actually getting something out of team.

Entrance fee well worth it today with probably one of our best performances of the season in dreadful weather.
Starting with an outstanding goal from a striker that is on fire in Charman! How long can we hold onto this lad?

And no doubt a save that Darlo fan's will watch over and over again from our exceptional keeper Taylor! Mouth watering..

It was anyone of 11 today picking up man of the match. It was a good team effort from the players, especially Wheatley who thoroughly deserved the honours.

So could be save and goal of the season in one game against Fylde today. It was a rare sight in keeping Nick Haughton quite that's how organised our defence was today. We were glad to see the first 10 minutes disappear without conceding.

Bring on the Pride....

He's that type of striker that needs service with his height and hold up play. I would imagine Askey will be on the phone sooner rather than later looking into extending his stay.

Always gonna be tough against the likes of Chorley.

Neither do I... but taking out the 6 goals conceded in 2 matches with Darlington & Fylde, we've let in 2 goals in 14 other League matches. It's not a bad record. Guiseley had one shot yesterday, whilst we hit the bar & post, and made a number of other chances

Good point although another game and no win, thought we’d now be heading to our easier period but now 4 games vs kiddy, two vs Southport and Chorley…….ouch

not much to lose, I think if we went for it we could nick the win these sides are due one, but think we will go with the ‘Nicki g a draw will be good’ approach cannot do Tuesdays but maybe kiddy game on radio

Thought you were the best team to visit our place this season, played some really good stuff. Some brilliant technical players, and the big lad you’ve got at the back is absolutely

We dominated the first half and rightly deserved the lead, second half was constant pressure from you and we needed a world class save from our GK in the dying minutes to keep the 3 points.

CONFIRMED - Johnson and Morley in at Spennymoor then. Not surprised to see them back in management but would have not predicted it to be Spennymoor.

Must have been promised backing I imagine they have worked on a much lower budget at Chester even with our fans best efforts to boost that budget, but fair play to both of them they have never complained or used it as an excuse to not doing well. Good luck to them until they play us of course.

What the Hell is going on there. You HAVE to get out of that league, it'll kill you if you stay too long. How about getting Billy Heath in? The football will be unwatchable but he'll get you up!

There's hopeful shouts to try and tempt Curle back but seems very pie in the sky to me that.

Think it'll either be Watson (apparently wants it) or Scott Ruscoe myself.
