Red card killed it, no way we don't get atleast a point from that 11 v 11. Can't complain about the red though.
Pen miss was a key moment in the game, could of been 2-2 instead 3-1 down within a few minutes. Not going to critise Mullin for missing, shouldn't be playing anyway with his hamstring but even the best miss pen's, Salah the other day.
3rd goal was dubious if it crossed the line. Few reporters saying replay looks like it didn't go it but it was Marsden so I'd expect nothing less

Think this narrative needs nipping; you had to play, you named 4 subs, 1 more than you needed to have to play. Almost 100% that's how it works now

We named Nemane and Roberts as subs as token gestures - they barely warmed up let alone looked like they might come on.

Add Richardson to the ‘shouldn’t be playing at this level’ category… some team they’ve got down at Notts

Well.. he shouldn’t to be fair. Neither should about 6/7 others. But I’d say that’s probably the case for all the brothers this season (the good ones, that is, not Southend or Torquay, no offence lads).

It doesn’t mean a lot when you’re trying to get out of a league as brutal as this, anyway. But as I am also sure is the case with Chesterfield and all the (good this season) brothers, the manager and players are far superior to those that got relegated out the league, would have been in no bother at all.

Ah well.

Stockport County.
Fair play to Notts for getting that game on.

I'm going to go for it, got a feeling they could win the league. They seem consistent to me and haven't played Dover or King's Lynn yet.

Could be a quality battle tbf, hopefully we can start being consistently at our best, if we are we'll get our noses in the mix with Chesterfield, Notts, Wrexham and anyone else. Our momentum keeps getting killed fixture wise though, frustrating.

Covid stuff is annoying so as I say fair play to Notts for having the integrity to get that on, could have easily copped out.

Ain't that the truth. County, us, Wrexham, Stockport, even Boring Wood challenge in the league above right now and you'd have to make a bloody good argument to change my mind

Did I read right you only had just over 6000 for your home game when your top of the league and its a Bank holiday
I know right, how terrible is that ey, 6200 home fans in the 5th tier of English football just after christmas!?

Wouldn’t expect you to realise that’s actually pretty decent given it’s your first ever season supporting Wrexham mind

4th win in a row for us today. We didn't play particularly well but Dover just have no resistance to any half decent attacking move. Moments of quality from Walker and Morais won us the game.

Nice to be back in the mix at least. We have played a few games more than most but have a healthy total on the board. It'll be interesting to see if we can kick on against some of the better sides and properly put ourselves in the conversation. I think we're definitely going to be in the battle for 7th whatever happens.

I have a feeling that carsonsuckscock doesn’t like Wrexham very much.
It's not that I don't like them, it's just they are the gift that keeps on giving. Have a read of their forum and the January transfer thread, haha it's pure comedy. It's going to be even funnier when they fall to their preferred mid table position.

no sorry, you’re meant to say ‘all jokes aside, that’s class from Notts to play’ - those are the rules.

we had 11 fit outfield players and still chose to take on Wrexham and we beat them. Ian Burchnall masterclass with the emphasis on class.

Time for you lot to put a bid in for Wootton just to turn his head a bit and derail Notts season, what do you reckon Dan?

On another note, how many last minute goals is that now for Torquay this season??? They must have scored more than anyone else in the dying stages of games

Nah not Boreham they’re absolute dog shite them. One of worst teams I’ve seen us play this year and they’ve got fucking Will Evans at the heart of defence I mean come onnn! Surely only a matter of time til they drop off the pace

Barnet boys did what they had to do today for the good of the league
