We mullered Preston North End, one net bulge to nil.

Pretty poultry away following for Bradford that.

About 300 or so.

Not bad considering no one could buy a single ticket to watch the game. Anyone who wanted to attend had to pay a minimum £299-£399 through Club-Jet2 packages.

We’d have taken 5,000 otherwise. Prob more.

Drew at home to Burton 2-2. Long and Baker-Richardson for us Stockton and Sweeney for them, good run out vs a Burton team I think will do pretty decent next season.

Lost 2-0 to Millwall this afternoon, some silliness from both sets of fans too

Only joking I said ‘poultry’ because of the chicken in the middle of the banner. :bg:

Good run out for both sides I think, we will hopefully have lots of the ball this season again and Forest will play most of the season without having much of it. 4 at the back was interesting but I wouldn't be rushing to play it to start the season.

The amount of players these Prem teams have now is mad, I assumed that Korean lad who scored for them was a youth team player, thought he looked sharp and may be worth an ask for a loan. Just looked him up and he’s 30, they signed him for £8m last summer and immediately loaned him out for a year. Bizarre.

Brilliant. If it wasn't their owners other team selling or loaning him I'd be surprised. It's a different world.

He was at Olympiakos, because of course he was.

Sutton 2-0 winners versus Reading. Lots of trialists on view for both sides. Reading are going to struggle to be properly prepared for the start of the season, who knows how they’ll end up. 2 more goals for trialists for us. No idea of any names.

Boos ringing out from Blundell Park as the big spending Mariners come unstuck again.

I'm extremely worried for Hurst. Extremely worried indeed

4-2 win away at Alty for us. Powell came on for half an hour and got himself a goal.

In our previous meeting with Hull we beat them 1-0.*

This time we lost 2-1 to them which shows just how far we have sunk.

Hurst needs to go - and pronto.

Crawley are playing Three Bridges (a neighbourhood in Crawley) today.

I'm going up town drinking. Arranged ages ago or I would have gone to the game.

The usual 'we can't win' game. Pop 9 past them and it's only Bridges. Draw or lose and were definitely down.

We won 1-2 Orsi with both. Said to have been roll on subs in the second half.

Seems we have a friendly with a league 1 club coming up. Possibly Pompey.

Casey

Edit: more booze consumed yesterday than I realised. English as a second language.

Flying to America today.

I had a lazy afternoon on IPTV and the Grimsby game was on so watched a little bit of it. It was split into 30 minute matches which I've always found a little odd.

I'm not sure who the commentator was, but his commentary style was very 'biased fan'. So instead of actually commentating he would say things like 'give it wide', 'that's a foul ref' etc etc.

To be fair all the pre-season games I watched yesterday were tedious.

I had to go pick my lads season ticket up yesterday so I went there about quarter past 5 when there was still around 15 mins left of the last 30 minute section and I thought it must have already finished because loads of fans were already walking home, think most of them must’ve thought fuck it 90 mins is enough and buggered off early.

My lad watched it though on his dodgy stock and he said we played really well.

I was flicking too much to be able to judge if you played quite well. The bit I watched was pretty scrappy from both sides.

We drew 1-1 at home to Bolton Wanderers against what my nephew said was a strong Bolton side.

Had a 4-0 stroll at local side alfreton yesterday, good for the boys to get a run out.

Pre season results mean nothing anyway, though be interesting how we far in successive home games to rotherham and barnsley.

Our midfield is an embarrassment of riches though, great to see.

We got spanked by them in the EFL Trophy between Conference stints I and II so technically we've actually improved on our last meeting with them.

Was John Moore on official club comms for a live match?! I hope that becomes a thing next season.

Don't know, didn't watch, just assumed it was him based on the description. Don't think BBC would have covered a friendly?

Can't see it becoming the norm as long as BBC radio cover our games
