Big three points today for us. Leaves us firmly with our destiny in our own hands. If we can acquire the full total of 6 points from the double header v Dartford then I think we will be safe.
Just read on Pitchero that Wayne Bradley has purchased the freehold of the Impact Arena from previous owners Amber Valley Borough Council. It will help with obtaining grants, etc. All this in the week that you moved 3 points clear of the relegation zone. Still a lot of work to do though, I'd imagine. See you a week on Saturday.

Hi mate. Yes that had been in the pipeline for a while but was confirmed this week. Its been a good week for us. We have put our destiny in our own hands now, This Saturdays game at Dartford is crucial for both clubs. Its a must win game for Dartford while I think we will be comtempt with a draw. Looking forward to it and quietly confident on the back of recent performances we can come away with the win. Yes see youon the 21st. :)

We've got Welling on Sat and Alfreton on Tues.

Lose to the former, beat the latter and it gets all interesting again!

Welling pretty much resigned themselves to relegation once Day left.

I would say at the moment it looks like 4 from 6 to go down. Personally think everyone from us in 18th and above are as good as safe - I would expect us to get 5 points from our last 8 games and others to pick up the 1 win they need.

As for the bottom 6 mini league, I would say Telford are down while the other 3 are favourites to join them. Alfreton and Southport have shown they are capable of the occasional win so think those 2 will just about stay up.

Big game at Haig avenue on Saturday as 19th Southport host 22nd Dartford. We need the three points from midtable Chester so we arent reliant on the result of that game.

Its 4 from 6 really isn't it? Telford look goners with Dartford and Nuneaton not looking much better either than it 1 from Alfreton, Southport and Welling.

Yes. Could be a decisive week.

Should Alfreton beat Chester and Dartford at home and Southport defeat Dartford while Welling lose at Barnet they could be 7 points adrift of Southport and 10 from Alfreton by the 28th while facingimmediate games against Grimsby and away at Woking. It could be all over.

And its far from improbable that it will pan out that way

Despite Welling winning last week I still think the current bottom 4 will go down. For me they have to win at least 1 of their next 4 and I really can't see that happening as their next 4 games are horrible for a side down the bottom.

Welling might be able to grind out a couple of results at home, but they looked so shambolic against us, that I would struggle to see them get the kind of points return that they would need. No cutting edge up front and shaky at the back is not a good combination.

Its all down to the final four games for them. Kiddy and Wrexham (H) Then Alfreton and Southport on the final day

The one thing I thought I wouldn't be saying after watching them was that they weren't physical enough. Maybe they've had to pull back because of their awful disciplinary record costing them money, but they showed very little fight.

Can't see them going to Alfreton and winning, but then this is silly season when no result can be seen as a banker.

I'm not sure whether they've kept the same side all season but the team they put out against us was very young and it showed in that they just seemed completely overawed. At the age of 25, Kieron St Aimie was one of the older players in the team.

That's a pretty damming epithet to give someone!
To think he joined us when we were having a mid-table season in League 2..

I notice Nuneaton have a bit of a run going, if they repeat the 12 points they have got from their last seven games it could make things interesting.

Alfreton win and Telford defeat sends Telford down tonight doesn't it?

Welling have no chance, they do themselves no favours by getting someone sent off every week.

7 games undefeated and 6 clean sheets in a row for Nuneaton, too little too late? Alfreton on a similar run with 6 unbeaten and only one conceded in those 6. Southport unbeaten in 5 and also only conceded once in those 5! Could be unfortunate that when Nuneaton go on a run so do Alfreton and Southport!

Aldershot better look over their shoulders though 7 points with only 6 games left is surely enough for them.

I'm not too worried. I would be stunned if all 3 carried that form to the end of the season and we have a decent run in. All 3 home games are winnable as is Braintree away. Im still looking at us catching a couple of clubs.

I'd be gobsmacked if Aldershot get dragged back into it.

Well one thing is for sure. This is far from over and is going right down to the wire. Our visit to Wrexham and against Welling now are huge! Two massive cup finals. Our ability to score and take the few chances we create seems to have deserted at the wrong time.

What is Southport's run-in like? I know they have to play Grimsby at home but who else do they go to play?
Nuneaton have done very well to get into a position where they may escape but they still need to keep it up for another 3-4 matches and they play us at the Hive on Easter Saturday.

Southport probably have the easiest run in of everyone
