Didn't realise that Welling have been on tour for most of the last six weeks. 6 of their last 7 have been away from home.

5 of their remaining 7 are at home and if they could try and keep some kind of contact through the next three, then they would have a squeak as their last four look like nice fixtures to have trying to stay up. Only one problem, next three are:

Grimsby H
Woking a
Eastleigh H

I'd be gobsmacked if Aldershot get dragged back into it.

We'll be fine. We have had 1 poor performance in our last 8 and that was at home to Southport. All we need is 1 win and I will be shocked if we cant get it from Torquay, Chester and Wrexham at home or Braintree away. I also wouldnt put it past us to get something at Forest Green either.

Would be good to see little Alfreton stay up, they did well last season, but struggled more this term which is a shame.

Telford are an odd one, they've a decent fanbase

I do have a soft spot for Alfreton, not sure why. I think it's because they so kindly passed Messiah Akinde onto us.

They have no sugar daddy investment.

Advantage us after todays results as were the only side in the bottom 5 to pick up a point. Think Southport are safe now after todays win and their very nice run-in.

Huge game for us at Wrexham now. Its our most successful away ground too. Cant remember a defeat in the league there. Hoping they take their foot of the pedal after Wembley tomorrow

Give over.

Welling and Nuneaton aren't going to win at least 3 of their final 5.

Agreed. If Aldershot don't get another point I very much doubt they will drop.

Mind, it won't cover up what has been a dreadful season.

I know Telford have been down for weeks, but only GD separates them from it being official I think?

Yep. Thats right. They will go down on Saturday at home to kiddy. If Alfreton pick up anything at Wrexham even a win wont be enough

Can only make a case for Nuneaton now, and I see on their forum that there is a rumour that they may be facing a points deduction which would shoot the fox (did check to make sure it wasn't an April 1st posting).

Relegation places will be sealed over Easter after we've beaten Nuneaton and Dartford and Alfreton beat Grimsby ;)

Telford look like they'll go tomorrow and two other spaces could be filled by Monday.

Time to depart this thread. Absolutely no way we are going down now, even if we lose our last 5 games!

Telford gone then - shame really because they had the odd bit of form but never consistent enough re: getting results.

Bad day at the office for Alfreton, good points for Welling and Dartford and by all accounts Nuneaton showing they are still hard to score against.

Who's Welling's game in hand against? Because if they win that the gaps then only 3 points
