Wow just logged back on. Did Wrexham and Notts play tonight by any chance?

Page after page..

This Mullin guy can't be great. Billy Waters has scored more in the same amount of games. See who bites ;)

Inevitable for a real heavyweight clash between two brothers, a game that felt like it should have been played AT LEAST two levels higher.

Expecting similar for Stockport v Grimsby tomorrow. Is it too early to describe this as a ‘Golden Era’ for the NL?

Absolutely agree, it looked too good for the level above didn't it? L2 is WANK

Officially, Brennan has to sign off on everything. However many of the signings are ones Kewell has worked with before and it doesn't look like Brennan is doing much in the way of gatekeeping which is one of the main reasons he was brought in, as TK was fed up of managers coming in and signing a raft of their own players who turned out not to be very good. I am not sure I have much faith in Brennan either to be honest, especially given what a shambles you guys were at the back last season.
Brennan was the main reason we went on a long losing run, prior to him going. Then Maynard had no money to work with and furloughed players and brought in what he could get.

We now have reasonable squad but need a big midfielder and a goal score.

Both teams looked very leggy at the end I thought. Hard games on Saturday and the miles travelled catching up with players. The game had gone at a fair pace from both teams up to that point though, fair dos.
Last twenty minutes the pace dropped right off, both teams were blowing, they'd put a lot into it.

Excellent from the linesman there making sure that the Brotherhood Derby was carved up, can’t believe Wrexham fans are complaining as without the wrongly disallowed goal a fellow Brother would’ve been going home with 0 points.
I thought you all understood the Brotherhood code of conduct? :lac:
It's every Brother for himself unless one doesn't have anything to play for, i.e. towards the end of the season if one Brother is out of contention but the other needs to win. Then it is standard Brotherly conduct to allow the 3 points to go to the rightful place.

Us tinpotters certainly do appreciate the away followings you bring. Just a shame for us that we have both you and Wrexham on Tuesday nights.

How many do you take midweek?

Thought the first half was of a decent quality, huge improvement for us comparing the Keates era before lockdown.

Although young Cleworth gave the ball away middle of the park leading up to their goal, the County cross and header both looked quality so fair play

Take the point and move on. Also, personally, don't think Luke Young is good enough to be the heart of midfield if we want to win the league..

Why do we always seem to play you on a Tuesday night? On a Saturday we'd take quite a few to Halifax, but the league seems to forbid it.

Depends entirely how we are doing. Probably 500+ to Halifax if we’re going well.

No idea I do recall we have played you very consistently on Tuesday's in the last few years. I'd like to play you on a Saturday.

Notts we had on a tuesday last year aswell as this.

Although if I remember you still bring 400/500 even on a tuesday.

I'd hope so. Well we play you in just over a month so do you think you can be good for a little bit longer.

Guess we'll have to put up with Grimsby as our big money making banker on Boxing day.

The Brotherhood should be aware that King's Lynn's segregated away end is completely unsuitable for any club which brings their supporters in anything bigger than a taxi. Just go in the home end if you actually want to be able to see the game.

The important question is though, did they have enough toilets for you?

Until it gets called off due to the weather and it ends up on a Tuesday night in February.

2 points dropped ultimately, we had more than enough to be winning that. Mullin is a different class completely, his all round game is superb. We do need a midfield though, it’s tough to play games without one.

It definitely was a poor result against a smaller club. Time is running out for Parky already, what's that, 5 points from 3 games? Getting sacked live on Disney XYZ will make for great TV at the weekend. I'm having a cheeky fiver on it.

Then why have you spent 75 million trying to get into it?

I'm telling you all now, being in L2 is a lot better. Spend some more guys. Broadhall Way and Holker Street are waiting for you.

If I say I don't want it, it won't hurt quite so much when we don't get it.

Strong rumours in Essex that we may have our ground closed as it’s not up to Southend fans high standards.

hopefully they get to play here for a few years, then they can wonder at its charm.
It can’t be any worse than Kings Lynn?

Absolutely packed in one corner whilst the rest of the ground is empty, crap food, shit view and £21 for the privilege

Well I haven't seen any Southend fans moan about any of those points - we could have had a few hundred more in the home end but it felt pretty full yesterday, catering was an issue in the home end only, no moaning that I can see regarding view lines of the pitch and it's £15 for our games.

As for our game, I think it's already been covered with Southend well on top and getting down our right hand side far too easily for my liking. Rhys Murphy will score goals as his movement is excellent, he's just lacking confidence right now.

Second half we grew into the game and kept Southend at bay, in fact probably the most damning stat line for the visitor's attacking threat (or lack thereof) is that George Wickens didn't have a save to make. I thought we'd nicked it at the death but Fasanmade's shot didn't have enough power.

I don't want to overreact but Jack Cook is a future ballon d'or winner.

Another point about last night’s game, as fun as Tozer’s throw is, with the towel and build up and fans going ‘woahhh’, etc, would it not be better to have someone else hurl it in and have a huge 6’3 CB like him in the box to flick it on for one of the attacking players or even score?
